You can create your own play- or setlists, loop sections for practicing, intuitive to use, great UI. It also has a tuner and a metronome, so it‘s the „Swiss pocket knife“ or better Dutch multi-tool. It has a ton of features and works as described, offering musicians hours of quality practice time to hone their phrases and craft their solos. It’s a great way to apply Christiaan’s methods (e.g. Constant Phrase Application, etc.) while working on the phrases in his videos and e-books, but it isn’t limited to that. The tracks work with any instrument, they are not overly busy or distracting, they sound great, they swing like crazy and the list of songs grows literally every day! Although the app name of La Pompe Live may seem like it is only Gypsy Jazz oriented, there is a wide variety of different jazz songs available. Tuner works great and the metronome is top notch.
