## What is LA Taco Map?

Hello! Welcome to L.A. Taco Map, the first app on the store that maps out taco spots in L.A. I made this app for taco lovers, and taco business owners. As you may know a lot of taco businesses are under the radar simply because they tend to get moved or kicked out of their location. This app is perfect for putting these spots on the map and a good way of supporting them. Keep in mind this app is free to use for anyone, its still new so a lot of spots have yet to be added, you can help by making your favorite taco spot owner or employee aware about this app so they can add their business. Lastly I hope you can enjoy this app and use it to discover new spots whether it be if you feel like trying a new spot or you’e new to the area and are craving tacos but dont know where they are, Thanks.

### 1/5 — No tacos in my neighborhood?

It is empty around my neighborhood near USC, but I do know a few spots around. I was disappointed. I’d recommend that you query Taco from external APIs, like google maps API, and import the results to this backend and prompt users to validate those locations once in a while as a start for sourcing data. I’d also recommend that you provide some incentive for people to contribute (maybe gamify it? e.g. local guide levels of Google maps). The concept of this app is great, and I look forward to its future versions.
