## What is Labberdash?

Somewhere behind the water heater, a closet is quietly becoming a
datacenter.

LabberDash is a comedic idle/tycoon game about secretly building an
absurd homelab — one Raspberry Pi, one NAS, one suspiciously large
Amazon box at a time — while keeping your spouse none the wiser. Think
Papers, Please meets r/homelab.

WATCH THE SUS METER
Every loud fan, hot server, and unexplained package raises your
spouse's suspicion. Let it climb too high and you'll face a Spouse
Encounter — play your Alibi cards ("it's for work," "it's a tax
write-off") to talk your way out before disaster hits.

MANAGE A REAL POWER BUDGET
Your circuit has real limits. Overload it and you'll trip the breaker,
killing every server at once. Panel upgrades and a Solar tier raise
your headroom — and quietly launder your habit while you're at it.

BUILD AN ABSURD HARDWARE CATALOG
Grow from a single Pi to a full rack: NAS storage, a media server, a
crypto rig, a virtualization host, and more — each individually
upgradeable, each with its own power draw, noise, and Sus cost.

BALANCE THE HOUSE
Not every purchase has to be LabberTech. DomestiTech gear — smart
plugs, video doorbells, robot vacuums — lowers Sus and keeps the peace,
if you're willing to spend Compute on looking responsible.

No pay-to-win, no forced ads, no loot boxes — everything in LabberDash
is earn-able through normal play. Optional in-app purchases and rewarded
video ads are there if you want to speed things up, never because you
have to.

Can you go from one Pi to a full rack without ending up on the couch?

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-28

Early Adopter Bonus: every video reward is free until November 1, 2026.

Damage Control, Extended Warranty, Go Ghost, Smooth Things Over and repairs are all one tap now, with no video to watch. No timed full-screen ads either. It is our thank-you for showing up early, and it is on for every player automatically. Nothing to buy, nothing to turn on.

Ad-Free is off the store while the bonus runs, since there is nothing for it to remove yet. It goes back on sale November 1.

Thanks for playing this early. Keep the reports coming.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-23

Bug fixes, most of them straight from player reports:

• Fixed the day counter freezing while the rest of the game kept running.
• Fixed "Watch & Fix" and repair videos doing nothing when tapped, or sitting greyed out with no explanation.
• Fixed sound and music cutting out until the app was force-quit.
• Repairing a device by video no longer has a cooldown. Fix as many breakdowns as you like.
• Ad-Free now removes the timed full-screen ad as well, not just the optional ones.
• Prices now show in your local currency.
• Fixed buttons cutting off or spilling their labels at larger system text sizes.
• Music & Sound can now be opened from Settings as well as the header icon.

Thanks to everyone who wrote in. Keep the reports coming.
