I’ll update my review once I see the effort put in ### 2/5 — Why we have to pay now?? *2026-08-03, version 5.4.0* Ive been using this app for a while since the printer i bought said to use this, this is so dumb. ### 1/5 — App requires pricey membership *2026-07-17, version 5.4.0* Used to be free. Now it wants 14.99 !!!! A month for an app to continue to use the printer I already paid for. This was not the case when I bought it. DO NOT BUY ### 2/5 — Not consistent *2026-07-13* This app works when it wants to, but most of the time connecting it to the printer is impossible and the app freezes. I usually have to restart the app and printer 10+ times to get it to work. As soon as I have the funds, I will upgrade! The first time I did I couldn’t use my label for 6 months and then they did a new update where my phone updated it on its own and I was able to use it again. Now I’m scared to update it. HIDDEN CHARGES!! *2026-06-28, version 5.3.0* I used this free app for two weeks in March and paid $33, yet I keep being charged monthly for it! There is no disclaimer, no fine print, and certainly no way of cancelling or contacting the developer. This is SCAMMING and FRAUD AND IT IS VERY ILLEGAL!!! ### 3/5 — Awesome when it works. *2026-06-25* Was working ok until last week. I’ve been trying to get it to connect to my WiFi, but it doesn’t list ANY WiFi networks nearby which is truly odd. ### 1/5 — Catastrophique *2026-06-22* Beaucoup de bugs, l’application ressemble à une page de publicité, plutôt qu’à un logiciel sérieux, plusieurs fonctionnalités manquantes, édition pénible, bref…à éviter. Malheureusement Phomemo n’utilise que ce software, ils vont perdre leurs clients. Dommage, leurs imprimantes thermiques sont bonnes. The perfect label printer for my postage labels. Just about to buy another one just in case it breaks! So far it’s been awesome and I couldn’t live without it. I went through ALL the suggested steps more than once - and still no printer connection. Thus left me with the only option to uninstall and reinstall the app. When I had to do this, I lost ALL of my templates. Y just happened to me again for the second time with the automatic update - I wish I would have had the choice because I wouldn’t have updated since I lost everything before. I even tried to save all of my templates before uninstalling, but had no luck doing so. The app isn’t compatible in that way. Otherwise, I love the app and the cute labels I was able to do. Plus the fast printing is awesome. Now I’ll have to put in at least two hours or more to recreate them. Ridiculous ### 1/5 — Looking for a new system *2026-08-10* Your last update where you make almost all your fonts require a monthly fee to access has left me looking for another thermal printer. Monthly access fee and reasonably costly. You could at least separated the fonts you require a monthly fee to access, instead of mixing them in with the ones you can get for free makes it very hard to design find the ones you have access to without paying. You could’ve left more fonts free You need to fix it so that it works better with iPads. Update that change how it functions makes it frustrating, worse is there is nothing posted info on the new changes. It’s not enough to purchase the printer to be able to fully use it; now they want you to pony up more for the app required for it to work. What a scam. ### 1/5 — Bad *2026-08-07* I habe premium für 60€ and the AI is not working often, until I restart the app + connectivity with the printer is really bad and unstable. It works well, and I have not issues, but want to know what to use in the future! ### 5/5 — Great for quick labels *2026-08-26* Until I bought this little machine, I was printing labels from my laptop. Now I just send the info to Labelife from my phone and it prints both the label and packing slip. *I had to do a few test runs until I figured out what works for me. The directions for printing are designed for the function of printing use- not “how to actually print”, but 5 minutes of trial and error took care of that. I like the machine. It gives almost all features but extra fonts for free and still gives enough for most uses. HOWEVER, I am BEGGING the developers to make the canvas of the label a different color than the background. I use this labeled to create labels for identification cuz i’m legally blind and I can’t tell you how many labels I’ve wasted cuz I can’t tell where the canvas begins and ends. I mean, a white canvas and nearly identical white background? It’s a nightmare! I prefer dark mode and see better when everything is black so may just make a border around the label size that is white when in dark mode and black in light mode. If you did that, I would think this is the best app out there. Thank you!! ### 5/5 — Still working years after purchase *2026-06-11* I purchased this little workhorse of a printer years ago and it is still printing my labels. Yes it does have a few quirks but nothing worth mentioning. I will mention the support staff has been able to walk me through getting my printer back online twice, and it was super easy and they handled the call for service in a professional manner and both times they were very friendly.
