## What is Labille?

Tilt your iPhone to guide a steel ball to the finish. One move too sharp, and it vanishes into a hole.

Labille takes the wooden maze of your childhood and gives it what wood never could: fifty labyrinths carved one by one, then endlessly many more, built on demand and always solvable.

A REAL LABYRINTH
Not a grid of holes, but winding corridors, forks and dead ends. The early boards forgive; their loops offer a way out. The last ones have only one route.

FIVE MATERIALS, FIVE BEHAVIOURS
Wood is honest. Greek marble is polished: the ball races and rebounds hard. Egyptian sand eats momentum — the response is immediate, and so is the stop. Norwegian ice holds nothing back. The jungle absorbs everything. This is not scenery: each material changes the physics under your fingers.

A TRIAL EVERY TEN LEVELS
Tighter grid, no loops, twice as many traps. Some holes open and close in rhythm, others slide along their corridor. The cycles are regular: they can be read, anticipated, and finally mastered.

THREE MEDALS PER BOARD
Gold, silver, bronze. The thresholds are computed from the real length of the route. Finishing is enough to move on; gold has to be earned.

A MAZE A DAY
The same for everyone, renewed at midnight, with a global leaderboard that restarts each night. A daily run where the luck of the draw favours no one.

YOUR GHOST
Your best run replayed in transparency beside the ball. You see where the time is lost — something no stopwatch will ever tell you.

FIVE BALLS TO EARN
Steel, wood, glass, marble, lead, unlocked as you progress. They change how impacts deflect them, never the speed they reach: records stay comparable between all players.

THREE DIFFICULTIES
Easy, normal, hard. The board itself never changes: walls and holes stay exactly where they are. What changes is the rhythm of the traps and the added obstacles — gusts, magnets, ice patches. Each difficulty keeps its own records, medals and ghosts: switching erases nothing, another notebook simply opens.

THREE MATERIALS TO WIN
Tokens are scattered on every board, and collecting them all asks for a different route than the fastest one. They unlock three coverings: saddle-stitched leather, chessboard marquetry, printed circuit. They change appearance only — weight, bounce and times remain those of the level, and records stay comparable.

CRAFTED IN DETAIL
A lamp follows your tilt and reveals the grain of the wood, the texture of the sand, the fractures in the ice. The ball rolls with a sound modelled on the micro-impacts of steel against the surface. Impacts are felt in your hand.

ADJUSTABLE
Sensitivity and stability on sliders, sound and haptics switchable, fog optional. The level is set once and corrects itself when you change position.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-08-26

PROGRESS PROTECTED
Changing difficulty erased records, tokens and daily mazes. This is fixed. Better still: lost progress restores itself when you open the game — completed levels, times and medals come back on their own.

PAUSE
A button suspends the run. The clock stops, the traps freeze, and a short countdown hands control back once you have taken hold of the device again. Leaving the app mid-game or opening the level grid now goes through that same pause.

MATERIAL WITHIN MATERIAL
Beyond the fiftieth board, patches of another material are set into the maze: a pool of ice in the middle of the sand, a marble slab on the wood. The ball changes behaviour while crossing them, weight and bounce included.

CLEARER CONTROLS
Four buttons below the board, each with its icon and its word: return the ball, restart the run, pause, recalibrate the level.

MATERIALS WITHIN REACH
Leather is now earned at 25 tokens instead of 40, and the home screen shows how far you are from the next threshold. The ball you earned stays visible even under a board material.

EMBLEMS
The finish carries the emblem of the material you are crossing — column, pyramid, crystal, fern frond — and distant boards take the name of their material.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-23

A MAZE A DAY
The same board for everyone, renewed at midnight. Only one time counts — your best run of the day — and it places you against the other players on a leaderboard that restarts each night.

YOUR GHOST
Your best run replayed in transparency, beside the ball. You are no longer racing a number: you finally see where the time is lost, corner by corner. At the finish, a new record announces what it gained you.

FIVE BALLS TO EARN
Steel, wood, glass, marble, lead. Each unlocks as you progress and changes how impacts deflect it — never the speed it can reach. Choosing a ball stays a choice of handling, not of difficulty, and records remain comparable between all players.

THREE DIFFICULTIES
Easy, normal, hard. The geometry of the boards does not move; the rhythm of the traps and the added obstacles do. On easy, nothing takes you by surprise; on hard, gusts, magnets and ice patches come on top. Each difficulty keeps its own records, medals and ghosts: your times on normal remain untouched.

THREE MATERIALS TO WIN
The tokens scattered on the boards led nowhere: they now unlock leather, chessboard and printed circuit. Clearing a whole board asks for a different route than the fastest one. These materials dress the board without changing its physics, and records stay comparable between players.

FOG
A vapour drifts above the board and hides the corridors. The maze can no longer be read at a glance: it has to be explored and memorised. Switch it on in the settings, when the campaign feels too tame.

FIVE LANGUAGES
The game now speaks French, English, Spanish, German and Italian.

SMOOTHER
Adjusting the rolling sound briefly stalled the display on some devices, which broke up fast slides. Fixed, along with the ball's shadow, which lagged by one frame at full speed.
