## What is LabPlayer?

LabPlayer is a professional on-set display client for film productions, built by 24 Lab. It turns iPhones and iPads into remotely controlled production screens, ideal for set dressing monitors, hero props, and interactive displays.

Connected to Simulation Studio over your local network, LabPlayer automatically discovers the server and receives commands in real-time:

• Display interactive simulations (fictional operating systems, dashboards, interfaces)
• Play back video content with full transport control
• Receive live color grading adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation, color temperature, tint)
• Stream the screen back to the control room via WebRTC
• Sync simulation and media files for offline-ready playback
• Kiosk mode locks the device to the current content, no accidental exits during takes
• Voice prompts from the operator directly to the device

Designed for the video playback department, LabPlayer works seamlessly on set with zero configuration, just connect to the same network, and the Studio takes care of the rest.

Requires Simulation Studio (macOS/Windows) running on the same local network.
