When you first download the app and look at what shoes go for, you’ll get all excited but it really isn’t gonna be all that simple to win. People on this app spend probably thousands of dollars on bids so they will win no matter what. This app is only for resellers and it’s especially friendly to them because if you win, which they will, you get ALL YOUR BIDS BACK. They don’t have to worry about loosing any money. If you’re just a regular consumer, don’t even try. You’ll end up just wasting your money. ### 3/5 — Well thought of but not a great execution *2022-04-23, version 2.7.7* Its a great app with a great idea but it however fails to hold it all together. You wont win anything unless you spend big contrary to what the company believes. The two wins per limit well its bullc*@p, people just make new accounts. So, winning is gonna be hard. And oh you get sneakers for cheap if you win but the bids cost you on lowest 2$ each which you will NOT if you lose the bid. Did I try yes, did I try again after reading reviews and going for less popular shoe yes, was it helpful no. Not recommended unless you wanna spend a ton of money or know how to time you bids like really well.. you know well to good well. ### 4/5 — Great but bad *2022-02-07, version 2.7.5* I won some shoes and paid for them and never received them because they banned my account because my girlfriend used my card on her account so we both got banned and I tried to explain to them but they never got back to me and it’s been months . It’s kinda shady because they weren’t dupe accounts she was winning for herself and I was winning for me and I still paid for shoes I won and they didn’t send me it , feel kinda played but 🤷🏽 ### 5/5 — Amazing Work wonders⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *2021-10-05, version 2.7.3* This app is amazing, it is a great way to earn shoes for less which I was able to do on multiple occasions. I currently have won 7 shoes and received 3 out of the 7 as the other 4 I have flipped, which is a feature within the app that allows you to earn the price of the shoe (market price) and the price that the auction finishes at which goes to your wallet! I suggested everyone to try and remember all it takes is 1 bid to win! Be strategic on here y’all! ### 5/5 — The best app ever! *2021-08-16, version 2.6.8* The Laced app is incredible because it is a fair bidding win to lose ratio. Even after winning your receive your bids back and have the opportunity to sell or keep the shoe. Another cool feature is that they allow you to spend bidding points on free merch or enter into drawings for hot sneakers. Most bidding apps and websites only take money and never give anything back to their customers, but laced is complete opposite of that concept. ### 2/5 — dealdash for sneakers (aka rigged) *2021-08-11, version 2.6.8* Argue the literal definition of “bots” all you want, but Laced has the same indications as any other rigged app. Let’s start with theautomatic responses posted by “the developer” about policies and potential robots “not being allowed on the platform”, is absurd. Every single site/store/app says the same thing (i.e. Nike, adidas, SNKRS/Jordan exclusives, yeezy) but Laced doesn’t actually disclose the intricacies of how such methods are implemented, how they ensure everyone is a real person who has a the same shot as everyone else (timing… bots) while Fortune 500 companies still can’t fully figure that out: Or whether they have another rigged method of outbidding/increasing the value based which users happen to be in each auction. Or an algorithm with identifiers allowing certain ppl to have an advantage. Or app *associates* are sitting there purposely bidding against you to increase value. Not ALL of these things may be true but I have yet to see a substantial response to dispute/tell users the detailed “terms and conditions”. Like dealdash, the same scenario and pace of bidding happens EVERY time. One person with unlimited bids, who has *conveniently* won 2+ auctions in the past? Must be that lucky? We close all duplicate accounts to keep it fair for all users, and every user has a profile where they can add their social media and hometown. As much as I wanted this to work, I don’t believe it is worth it at all. I was reluctant but took a shot & tossed $50 into the bid system. I received 100 bids & from my perspective I thought I stood a small chance to win. Well after participating in this “auction” I quickly realized they may not be bots but this is a rigged system. Sure they don’t lie when they say you can win shoes for pennys on the dollar. But they fail to mention they have users who have accumulated an unrealistic amount of bids which seems to turn this into a bot like experience when watching/participating in an auction. There is always 1-3 users who are just dumping a crazy amount of bids (gives you bot or reseller vibes) & this forces you to give up wasting a small amount of bids or dumping $$$ into the bid system to allow yourself a chance at “cheaper” shoes. They claim to have safe guards like limiting wins between 30 day periods but I don’t believe they really put effort into preventing someone from having multiple accounts. Really you spend the same amount or maybe little more to just paying the resellers up charge. I want to be clear, I don’t think they’re lying when they advertise the claims that they do. But would I recommend this to my friend? No way. Win or lose, everyone has a shot at big name sneakers, and you really couldn’t ask for more. They also usually have sneakers before or immediately after their release to the public available in auctions to give people a chance at winning. We hope you enjoy the flip feature as well as the new in-app giveaway feature!! ### 3/5 — Good Idea *2021-07-21, version 2.6.3* It’s a good idea but literally anyone can do it but it’s basically depends on if there is someone on with a lot of bid or pure luck I mean every once in a while shoes get sold for super low but it was prolly cause people where waiting on 1sec left and missed it but the one thing that really bothers me is the fact I have to sit there and watch it the entire time…. I don’t just have money to throw into bids plus why can’t we get our bids back when we lose instead of losing them and the person who wins gets there’s back witch makes no sense. Best thing about it but also makes it seem scamish shoe wise but the fact you get reward points for participation is pretty lit even though it takes a few to get anything nice. Please reach out to our IG @LACED.app or support@Laced-app.com for any questions and pro tips on how to play. ### 3/5 — needs some work (DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ) *2021-06-09, version 2.4.7* i think this a grab app but there’s one major flaw. the app is supposed to be here to help people get releases that you missed out on for a great price and many people have, but it seems a little unfair that the winner of the raffle receives their bids back if they win and after that yeezy v2 raffle since bids are worth only .01 people are clearly dropping hundreds, if not over a thousand, on bids giving them thousands and thousands of bids making it a little concerning how one person can just outbid everyone if they want to leaving them with no concern cause they’re going to get their bids back while everyone else is just wasting their money and bids. it doesn’t seem like a major issue yet but still concerning how one person who clearly spent a lot of money on bids driving a shoe to 88 dollars and making everyone waste their bids while they faces no regret because they get all of their bids back. just something the developers should keep in mind for the future **Developer response:** Hi Becky, LACED was created to give sneaker enthusiasts an OPPORTUNITY to win sneakers below retail. The catch is you go to spend the same amount of money if not more trying to win a pair of shoe you just aren’t going to get there is to many whales in this app meaning they have well over 10,000 bids when you you get all your bids back so you don’t lose you get the upper hand on winning the next shoe compared to the average joe my guess is this app was created to be low cost but the way it’s set up is to get you addicted to the illusion you’ll end up winning but you don’t I’m $400 in and all I have to show is very over priced merch that way you don’t have the urge to sue them is my guess the way the app responds to negative comments is really unprofessional they do not care they just care about there pockets ,, the laced slogan they use is the point is not to spend a ton of money all you need is 1 bid to win an L app is cool but only if you liked over priced shoes ,,, great app for people with lots of money it’s like the loterry you got to play to win but this is just shady **Developer response:** Hi, we actually do not have anyone on LACED with 10,000 bids. I’m so glad that I did. I was lucky enough to cop a pair the same day. I bought some bids and stared bidding. Bidding increments are $0.01 per bid and after you win your bid credits are returned back for the next shoes. Lots of legit shoes. Can’t wait for them to show up. ### 5/5 — Former skeptic *2021-04-09, version 2.3.5* Seen this app on Instagram ad. Thought I’d give it a chance. Bought my first bundle of bids. And found a penny auction to try my luck. After a couple different auctions I won my first auction a pair of Nike air max 90 for $0.69. Just received my shoes the other day and all I can say is will definitely be getting more bids and trying to win more. They great thing is all shoes are verified authentic ### 5/5 — Legit App! Tons of Grails! 100% verified Shoes *2021-01-18, version 2.1.5* I was obviously skeptical when I heard about it. Auction sights I feel like always have the stigma that users can be “bots” or controlled by the company. I can say 100% this is NOT true for this app. Very easy to use and definitely fun to try and get sneakers you have been chasing. I spent a while watching auctions ( you can enter and just watch) which I love. So you can see how it works and get a feel of how it works. Be AWARE ITS ADDICTING!! They always engage on Instagram an usually have promos to get you some free bids. Don’t get frustrated if you waste a lot of bids the first few times, but it’s definitely legit, and when I have won an auction they follow up almost immediately to verify you pair is secured. Shoes are 100% legit and even come with verification from whomever they received them by. Do your homework, it’s not perfect, but it’s all about the chase!! Good Luck!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time and money *2023-02-02, version 3.1.1* This app advertises as how you can get sneakers for like average of $10 dollars and such but yea that’s the price of the shoe but they’re taking into account the amount of bids you’ll be putting in. Each bid will cost you $$$. By the time you win a shoe for like $10 that means like a thousand bids will have been placed since each bid is for $0.01. Depending on your avg cost for your bid, while the shoe price may be cheap, you will also have lashed out big bucks just to purchase and use bids. The idea is nice, it sounds nice to be able to cop grails for less than resell prices but the true cost is hidden behind those bids. There’s a reason why there’s a number of people cautioning against this app. If you’re trying to go for grails, this aint the app for you. **Developer response:** LACED gives users an opportunity to win sneakers for under retail. Keep in mind that if you win, you receive your bids back. ### 1/5 — BUGS (Refund would be preferred) *2022-01-15, version 2.7.5* I used the app for the first time today as I do use other auction apps. This one I think is it still not where it needs to be for me to be using it. I couldn’t contact support because on the app I don’t see that option BUT regardless I screen recorded how the app would freeze up for moments at a time saying I’m winning with no time ticking. I exited came back twice it still did it so eventually I said you know what forget it since it wouldn’t allow me to bid. I wasted money buy bids for a app that clearly has some technical problems. I’d just like a refund, not even interested in credits until these bugs get fixed. ### 1/5 — pretty sure they’re running a scam *2021-07-26, version 2.6.3* downloaded this app & kinda forgot about it, just started reusing it and man it’s really suspicious. There’s always one repetitive bidder in every auction that immediately bids right after you bid, almost positive it’s a bot. Not only that but in most auctions I’m noticing that, that one repetitive bidder always ends up spending more on coins than what the shoe is worth 🤔 I’m sure someone wins every now and then but just for cosmetics because the average persons odds are incredibly low, never even heard of anyone in the sneaker community win either. Just be careful with this app, incredibly suspicious ### 1/5 — Scam App *2021-04-11, version 2.3.5* This app is a perfect way to blow your money for the hopes of getting shoes for cheap when 9 times out of 10, you have no chance of winning. All it takes is for someone to have more money than you to buy thousands of bids, dominating the auction all the way until the auction “lags” a few minutes before the hour mark and they get the shoes. I just wasted around over $60 on one auction just to place another bid as the timer hit 2 seconds, just for the app to “lag” and have my bid not go through after 54 minutes of me trying to get the shoes I’ve always wanted. This has happened in every auction I’ve participated in without fail. I like the idea of this app and the concept it serves, but with this many issues I just want my money back and you will be in the same situation too. **Developer response:** LACED gives sneakerheads an opportunity to win sneakers for under retail and the secondary market. We highly recommend our users to be on a strong wifi network or cellular service for the best experience possible. ### 1/5 — Be VERY careful *2021-04-02, version 2.2.1* So I downloaded this app cause I was intrigued with the model. I bought the lowest bid package ($15 for 20 bids... each bid increases the bidding price by one cent) just to play around with it. I quickly realized that this is made for one type of customer. I would NOT download this app unless you have $500- $1000 to burn on bids because the people you’ll be going against do. In the three auctions I watched I witnessed people go into bidding wars burning up hundreds to thousands of dollars to get the W. And what’s worse... the highest most consistent bidders didn’t always secure... unless you’re able to keep up with them it really isn’t worth it. Like I said it’s a cool idea. But the fact that you get all your bids back if you win might be the Achilles heel of this system... believe it or not...It gives incentive to just keep buying bids that are expensive and go quickly. So the big players will keep coming back even if they have a two win monthly limit. Laced frequently comments on these reviews saying “it only takes ☝️bid to win”, and although that may be true, you’re more than likely not going to be able put that one bid in at the right time to get the W, because you’ll be going up against giants who have waaaaay more to lose and even some who don’t care that they just lost 500-1k in the auction before. Just a word to the wise... save your cash, wait for drops and raffles, or even use StockX, cause in the end you’ll drop just as much (if not more) here. **Developer response:** Hi Bill, we understand that there are first time and more active users that will always play for the same hyped sneakers. This is why LACED drops a variety of less-hype sneakers, so more of our users have a better chance at winning for less than retail price. Last week alone, we had the Jordan 1 'Silver Toe' go for 79¢ and the Travis Scott AF1 for $5. Both of those winners used less than 10 bids total. You can also build up your bid bank by referring friends to LACED and following us on IG @Laced.App for promo codes. ### 1/5 — Beware of bots *2020-12-29, version 2.1.5* I have personally seen several “bots” on this app. I have seen accounts uses enough bids to buy the shoes 3x on stockx. It makes no sense that a real person would spend triple the money to get a pair of shoes the only explanation is that it would be their own “bots”. They will tell you it only takes one bid to win. But if you have a program in place that will always out bid the highest bidder that statement would be completely false. They use that to get you to buy more bids (100 for $50). Don’t waist your time or money just go online and pay resale. This app will do nothing but take your money and give you “participation prizes” like socks and shoe laces, as well as ruin your mood. ### 1/5 — BIG Waste of Money *2020-07-20, version 2.0.8* Just tried this app for the first time, I was in the middle of a live auction and two users placed well over 100 bids and it’s still going. For reference, 100 bids is $50. Also, looking at how they respond to poor reviews is a bit unprofessional to say the least. Claiming one star reviews are “#fakereviews” and blatantly putting usernames of those who left reviews is definitely an odd practice. Deleting the app and would definitely not recommend to anyone. Since I began writing this review, the same users placed an additional 50+ bids. Cheaper to just buy the shoes than to waste your money on bids unless you intend to purchase hundreds and hundreds of bids. ### 1/5 — An awesome app to waste your money *2020-07-01, version 2.0.8* Basically spend 300+ dollars to bid on sneakers that are worth less and still didn’t get em. That’s gonna be you if you spend you time on this trash app 😂 be smart and buy em for retail. Save the money you’d spend on bids and just buy the expensive shoes you want. You’ll end up spending more money on this awful app. Don’t get me wrong, real people win real shoes. What’s not apparent is the process behind the scenes. Assuming the app is legit I’ve never encountered a ending to an auction I didn’t think was abnormal from timer glitches, lag when you run low on bids ( I have 1,000 Meg Internet) etc. But don’t worry, if you refuse to heed my warning and spend money in this app, when you waste $200+ convincing yourself you’ll win the next auction they’ll let you redeem all that lost money on a t-shirt or hoody that probably cost $10 so you can advertise their scam around the world. -Enjoy ### 1/5 — Bad customer service *2019-01-03, version 1.0.46* I Was asked to email them about an issue over having made an account for my sister because she won shoes after I had won 2 pairs already, however once I did my account was banned, her account was banned and she also never received the shoes and all my bids were lost I had 89 on my account, she had around 75 that I had bought for her. Now I can’t even access the app. They never replied to my emails(I sent a lot of emails) that tried to explain And solve the issue. This is the worst customer service ever. Until now I had not heard from you, I was also blocked on Instagram which I found hilarious. All they care about is money. All I’m asking is for a reply and either a refund for all the bids and the shoes my sister never received or to just send the shoes (in case you forgot they were a size 11.5 Jordan ROY the yellow ones, coincidentally the same ones that just sold a couple days ago) **Developer response:** Sergio Campa, You cheated by creating multiple accounts ( Sergiolicious, Scampa and Sergc17) and breaking other rules. You were emailed about the violations which you replied too and there after terminated indefinitely. Your actions were not fare to our other users! We will protect our users against cheaters! When you break the rules you lose the shoes and bids are not refunded. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great App *2023-01-27, version 3.1.1* I was a bit skeptical about the app at first until I read more into it and tried it for myself. My boyfriend bought me a big bid pack for christmas, in which i ended up winning my first auction! There’s a trick to boost your odds, but overall a pretty luck of the draw thing. If you really want to win the auction, you have got to go for it. It’s definitely not impossible to win, and overall i love the idea of the app! Who wouldn’t want to pay 3-10% of retail price for nice kicks? A must have app for sneaker heads for sure. ### 5/5 — it’s real *2023-01-27, version 3.1.1* I just won my first pair from the app for 70 cents. i am currently waiting for them to ship but I think the app is legit. I have been watching others bid and planning how I could win. I spent 50 dollars total and won some shoes that retail for 140 dollars. I will get them verified when they come in but I am very hopeful. My advice is to go for shoes with less likes and spam the bids to seem confident. If you win you get all your bids back anyway. Go in being ok losing all of your bids, it’s a game of luck in the end. ### 5/5 — Solid app but takes more luck then skill *2023-01-09, version 3.1.0* You can definitely win sneakers at a lower price then they worth and when you win the sneaker you get to keep all the bids you bought to win more sneakers. The problem is that you have to buy thousands of bids in order to win your money back but if your able to afford putting that much money in you can most definitely win back your money and then some. Otherwise you have to pick wise bids and hope you can outlast other people who are in the same boat as you. ### 5/5 — What an amazingly unique and fun app! *2022-08-23, version 3.0.0* Never have I participated in such a fun and fairly organized bidding auction. After a few trials and errors I was able to get the hang of things and now I’m completely hooked on this app! I can’t believe I didn’t discover it sooner! Completely mind blowing with the tier of sneakers they are putting out to bid. Many apps are trying to copy this schematics but they don’t get close because of the very structured system behind laced! If you play smart and use your bids good you will win. The people leaving 1 star reviews just don’t know how to use the app and win. Of course you have to be careful as to which shoe you try for since there are experienced users with many more bids than you might have, especially if you’re just starting. Overall I feel it’s an awesome way to add to your sneaker collection. ### 5/5 — Great app for not just sneaker heads! *2022-06-01, version 2.7.7* There’s a lot of scammer show apps out ther but this isn’t one of them. This app takes the work out of auctioning for big prizes. The work is all done for you all you have to do is download, bid, and win!!! Four wins later and I’m still impressed with this app. App functionality and alerts are dam good. Give aways are always some type of grail. Bidding is pretty fair as long as you pay attention. Always dropping heat so it’s never boring for a sneaker head.
