## What is LAI FVR Extractor?

LAI FVR Extractor turns the encrypted FileVault recovery keys in the CSV file that Apple Business exports for FileVault key escrow into a plain Recovery Key list you can actually use.
No need to use a the terminal to decrypt the recovery keys.
Upload your private key and CSV file with encrypted keys and you're good to go.

WHAT IT DOES
• Decrypts the encrypted recovery keys inside the CSV that Apple Business produces, using the matching RSA private key you provide
• Saves the decrypted results as a clean Serial Number, Recovery Key CSV you can share

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No servers of ours. Your encrypted CSV, your private key, and the decrypted recovery keys are processed entirely on your device
• No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, no advertising frameworks
• Uses only Apple's built-in security frameworks (Security, CommonCrypto) — no custom crypto.
• Optional iCloud Keychain sync (off by default per key): if you choose it, your private key is synced across your devices signed into the same Apple Account using Apple's end-to-end encryption

MULTIPLE ORGANIZATIONS
If you administer more than one Apple Business instance, save each private key as a named organization. Private Keys are stored On This Device to keep a key local, or iCloud Keychain to sync it across your devices signed into the same Apple Account, end-to-end encrypted by Apple. Switch between organizations from a dropdown on the Decrypt tab.

- Encryption certificates — attach the certificate you uploaded to Apple Business to any saved organization, then import, re-export, or replace it anytime. Certificates are verified against the matching private key.
- Export your saved private keys back out whenever you need them.
- Save in App — store a freshly generated certificate and key straight into your keys, with no files to export and re-import.
- Decrypt mixed exports — turn on "Try other saved keys" to decrypt a CSV whose recovery keys were escrowed under different certificates in one pass, with a "Decrypted With" column added to the results.
