I like that you can see active calls and have access to weather updates so you can be ahead of the game. I also love that you can set notifications for your zip code which is usually a paid feature for most apps. With that said, I don’t think the current UI is friendly for most users. Other apps like Watch Duty, Pulse Point, and Citizen have a streamlined UI that is easy to digest. Don’t let that deter you though. This app is definitely going to change over the years and I’m willing to bet it will be the go to app for LA County. If updates are made to the app I’ll update my review accordingly. With all the local fires in Southern California that’s been going through are cities has been nerve wrecking so we track all the resources we have and use them as a way to determine if we should evacuate a lot sooner rather then wait for authorities to tell us.
