Welcome to Lala's Kitchen, a calm, cozy match-3 puzzle game built for players who want to unwind, not race a clock.

There's no timer counting down. No energy meter forcing you to wait. No pressure to keep up. Just warm, hand-illustrated ingredients, satisfying matches, and a kitchen that's always ready when you are.

Lala's Kitchen was built with one simple idea in mind: a puzzle game should feel like a warm afternoon in a kitchen you love, not another notification demanding your attention. Come cook, come relax, and take exactly as long as you'd like.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-11

- Motion overhaul: swaps and falls now use real spring physics and distance-based timing (matching Candy Crush/Royal Match), replacing the old flat animations. Swap-anchor and spawn-anchor bugs fixed so special pieces fire and spawn exactly where you played them.
- Distinct effect identity: every special-piece effect (sweeps, blasts, chain reactions, combos) now has its own real motion — a directional stretch, a radial pulse, sprite-crop debris — instead of a shared color wash.
- Visual refresh: redesigned HUD built around Lala's mascot, a Home screen facelift, and a new illustrated, curved Level Map — including this session's fix for landmark art that was showing visible background blocks, plus a new seamless tiled backdrop.
- Real audio: licensed match/cascade/win sound effects replace the old synthesized placeholders.
- Engagement: "next recipe" hints on Home and the win screen, a real win-celebration moment, loop variety and win-tier rewards.
- Bug fixes: escort pieces no longer favor the same starting columns, a manual-shuffle bug leaving a tile invisible for several moves, banner stacking behind tiles, and several smaller visual glitches.
- Infrastructure: OTA update support is fully wired now, so future content-only updates (like today's art fix) can reach players without a store review cycle.

- Your recipe box just got a lot bigger — 40 new recipes to collect, each with the full ingredients and steps. Tap any card you've unlocked to read it.
- The path through your levels now winds and curves, instead of straight lines between stops.
- A few new board shapes to discover as you play.
- Smoothed out some early pacing and fixed a couple of small visual bugs.
