I login and I’m forced to “upgrade “to a app for version that my phone (6s) doesn’t support. Now I either need to go out and buy a new thousand dollar phone or find a new credit union. Worst bait and switch ever. ### 1/5 — The Most Poorly Managed App, Period *2020-10-16, version 2.22.0* How is it that every two months, since the app and website were outsourced to the current dev team, there arises a new problem. From zero heads up that a password change is required, forcing the user to go to the Website to set a new password while on a Mobile only connection in another state at after business hours, to incorrect balances, offline instances, and today, the top of the heap, a random requirement to log out the leads to catastrophic failure and a need to visit the credit union in person? So this morning, I launch the app, the balances update, then I get a message that I need to log in again. I enter my credentials, and find that a verification PIN need to be sent. Select OK, no text. Select OK again, not text. Try two more times, and no text. Select to try a different method, and get a call with the PIN code. Go back to the app, and I’m logged out again. Log in, and enter the pin from the phone call. Invalid PIN, exceeded number of attempts. I tried once...once and I’m over the try limit. Meanwhile, I get 4 text messages, 4 minutes after the first text attempt, and three more in 2 minute intervals. Called the office, and got the password changed on the account. Deleted the app, restarted the phone, downloaded the app, again. Logfed i. With the new credentials, and now it says it can’t get a verification code. Tried this three times, and then it locked the account t completely, so I have no access thru the app or the Web UI. This hot garbage starts with the dim management that runs LANCO. It’s been down hill for about 7 years now, and this app developer is the cherry on top of a terrible overall experience. I’ve been with LANCO for 30 years, but I believe it is now time to part ways. Terrible service from a terrible credit union offering a terrible app. ### 3/5 — Alway Broken *2023-09-29* This app is broken more than it is working. At least once, sometimes twice a month, like today, the app is down and will not update. It’s tiring. Please get your act together, test the app, monitor the app, and have a back up plan. ### 3/5 — Deposit software *2020-12-21* Your deposit software is very difficult to work with. Takes multiple tries before it will accept a check! ### 4/5 — Good, but... *2015-05-07* While I am really appreciate having the ability to deposit checks, I am finding that Performing transfers and reviewing transactions is still better on the website. I have so many account suffixes that the suffix numbers mean nothing to me. The transfer tool references these numbers instead of the account nicknames, so it is not feasible for me to use. When I use the website, I never need to use these numbers. The transaction history seems to sync instead of displaying live data, and there seems to be a delay compared to the website. ### 5/5 — J Beaumont *2026-08-18* LANCO is staffed by friendly, competent people, who always get the job done. Their help hotline is a lifesaver and their online banking is very simple and a huge help! ### 5/5 — Easy to use! *2025-07-16* This works well for me! I like the use of the pin to get in and you can transfer to accounts in other financial facilities. I use my phone for most transactions and it works well there, happy to not have to be on a computer. ### 5/5 — Really convenient *2025-01-04* I like that this app lets me take care of most of the things I ever need for managing my accounts. It’s easy to use, and the dashboard view is a nice way to check in on what’s recently come through or is scheduled to go out. I appreciate that the chat support gets me connected with real, live people and not just sorting through FAQs. Super easy to get member help that way.
