The idea is great but some of the information is out of date or not clear (e.g. Alarm deactivation - an instructional message is NOT displayed on the instrument panel, you have to go into the guts of the settings menu to find how to do this).

Nice app - but PLEASE add the 2016 Discovery 4.

This is already on the on-line iGuide, so it should be easy to add it to the app (and it would be useful to earlier Disco 4 owners).

Ich wollte mir für etwas ältere Baujahre eine Anleitung herunterladen, merke aber, daß erst ab etwa 2015 die Modelle unterstützt werden. Das kann der Stern besser, hier werden auch die 90er Jahre schon abgebildet.

紙かpdfの説明書にするべきです。
求める情報に辿り着かない。従来の紙の説明書と同じくページ方式なら未だ使えるが、このアプリはウェブブラウザに近い構造で非常に使いづらい。

Having the entire guide on my phone is a great idea. Unfortunately the guide has three major flaws. 

 Firstly you cannot actually search in any meaningful way. If I search charge port, nothing comes up relating to the charge port. Some other irrelevant results one up, but nothing to do with charging. It seems to only allow you to search using the category names, rather than an actual search of the text in the manual. So it is easier to just plough through the headings and work out how to hunt down where things are hidden 

 Secondly- the information in the iGUIDE is woefully inadequate, a broad summary at best. Somethings don’t even apply to my car. The charge port section of the guide bears no resemblance to my Range Rover sport and doesn’t refer to buttons I have on my car. Please either make it accurate or give me a manual. This is close to useless.

Thirdly, the index is not even sorted alphabetically. It looks like it is, but when you actually start looking for something you realise that it is sorted by first letter (“C” for example) but then everything under C is randomly listed. 
Utterly, utterly incomprehensible not to have an index page listed alphabetically.

JLR have put this in place to save money quite simple..
They’ll say it’s to save paper..
Nonsense.
As everything is a extra today on configuring you car ..
I would of paid £20 for a traditional paper book in the glove box..
£85k on a vehicle and no manual.

This App is abysmal. The explanations are obtuse - with links that purport to offer more info but which take you back where you started. It is often inoperative. My car is brand new but the spec. Is often not mentioned. Some of the info is just plain wrong. Yet when now reading feedback on this, one can see it has had lousy feedback for years, but with no attempt to revert to a high quality handbook. JLR, and it's now not so new MD, ought to be thoroughly ashamed. Sadly for me it is too late to purchase something where the manufacturer gives a damn.

Despite the bad reviews I was curious, 
This app does not cover the freelander at all and I noticed that it only covers defenders for maybe last 5 yrs or so. Sorry I didn’t take a lot of notice. 
How hard can it be for the App devs of a company as large as Land Rover / Jaguar to transfer the pdf. Handbook into an app for owners to use.

Bring back the traditional owners manual. If you’re stuck without internet it’s useless. Theres NO downloadable version that’s capable of being read offline. Come on Land Rover you’re a premium brand. The search isn’t intuitive at all. You need to know the exact term used to index by the developer or the search has ZERO idea what you want.

I was told by the dealer that no handbook is available, ‘just download the app’ they said.  I did.
My 2024 Range Rover is two/three years ahead of the contents.
Not a lot matches up, so useless.
