The Land Rover Remote App keeps you in touch with your Land Rover when you're not in your vehicle, delivering greater control than ever before over security and comfort settings. 

The App's enhanced features, improved functionality and intuitive interface affords peace of mind, more efficient journey planning and greater well-being for you and your passengers.

Use the App to remotely:
- Prepare for a trip by checking fuel range and dashboard alerts
- Locate your vehicle on a map and get walking directions to it
- Check if doors or windows are open
- View journey information
- In the event of a breakdown, request Optimized Land Rover Assistance
- Plan future journeys and sync with your vehicle*
- Connect your favorite music and lifestyle applications to your InControl account for use in vehicle.*

For vehicles with InControl Remote Premium, the following additional features are available:
- Check on your vehicle security status and lock/unlock your vehicle if required
- Cool or heat your vehicle to the desired temperature prior to your journey* 
- Locate your vehicle in a crowded car park with 'beep and flash' functionality.

Download the Land Rover InControl Remote App and then log in using your Land Rover InControl username and password to connect to your vehicle. This App requires subscription to one of the following packages fitted to the vehicle:
- InControl Protect
- InControl Remote

Recently I am facing difficulty using this app, I can’t precondition my vehicle. Another problem when parked next to my work place, it shows my home place on app. Today I deleted app, thought might be connection problem and when reinstalled app, now I can’t login again to the app. Please fix the bug or problem.

This app needs a serious overhaul, it’s soo slow I literally can walk to my car by the time it opens and updates details, so you can remote start the vehicle. App is useless at the very least. Also sucks that you can’t turn on seat heating steering wheel or windscreen heating from the app. Remote climate control sucks, I still have to wait for the windscreen to defrost even after 30 minutes. lol maybe one day they will make the app better then the cheapest car brand out there…. Here’s to patiently waiting for my 250k Range Rover to finally be able to remote start and defrost the windscreen

Just updated and now I can’t even login. So many issue with this app constantly. Can’t even have face unlock work properly so changed to passkey and that has issues too. How difficult is it to have things work these days with all the tech and AI there is to help?

There should be a remember me feature so that you do not have to sign in every time you want the convenience features of the app. Also the verification code should be text and not email. The app also needs updates on the climate, unlock feature.

Biometric login previously worked using Face ID. Enabling Biometrics now initiates WebAuthn/passkey registration. iOS correctly invokes my configured Microsoft Authenticator credential provider, but Remote’s requested passkey is rejected as unsupported. Please confirm whether third-party iOS passkey providers are supported and how I can restore the previous Face ID biometric login.

This app says my car is in Derby -200miles away yet I’m in Bournemouth stood next to my car.  Don’t waste your money on this app.

Sadly the app freezes. Troubleshooting and still not working.  Email sent and I have not received a response.  I am not looking forward to calling and going through all the troubleshooting again.

This is my first Range Rover. I have been a Mopar person for awhile. Having the remote app is wonderful but an electric start option on the key fob was be so appreciated

This is the worst vehicle app I have ever used and I have multiple. With Toyota and Tesla (which is the best). This app constantly locks you out where you have to go and get a code from your email multiple times a day and it constantly put a vehicle in a sleep mode where you have to log onto the app start the Vehicle and put timers that don’t even work. It’s just extremely inconvenient. And the GPS locator isn’t even accurate.
