Größter Mangel der App ist, dass sich keine Satellitenbilder in Verlauf- oder Filmform darstellen lassen, die eine eigene Einschätzung und Bewertung des Wettergeschehens erlauben würden. Außerdem ist die Einteilung in die einzelnen Regionen viel zu ungenau, ein "stufenloses" Verschieben der "Wetterkarte" wäre weitaus praxisgerechter. Dass außerdem die Karte mit den Bundesgrenzen schlagartig abbricht, stellt eine weitere Einschränkung dar, insbesondere zur Bewertung der grenznahen Wetterlage.
Insgesamt eine gut gemeinte, aber doch sehr schlicht gestrickte App, die sich primär an das Informationsbedürfnis von Menschen richtet, die einfache und wenig differenzierte Wahrheiten bevorzugen, weil sie selbst eher ungern denken.

Einige Karten übersichtlich, vieles nicht verfügbar z.B. Heute früh: nicht verfügbar.....ist 10 Uhr nicht mehr früh?
Muss ich um 5 Uhr aufstehen, um die aktuellen Vorschauen zu gucken?
Ich verstehe die App wohl nicht.
Für mich: rausgeschmissen Geld!

Die Funktions-Steuerung ist zunächst gewöhnungsbedürftig. Hat man das erstmal geschnallt, lässt sich gut damit arbeiten. Auf dem IPhone sind die Karten etwas klein, zum vergrößern habe ich noch nichts gefunden. Lokales Wettergeschehen ist hier sicher nicht voll umfänglich zu erwarten, aber viel besser, als das alte Wetterfax seligen Angedenkens ist es allemal und die Satelliten Bilder sind sehr gut. Top wäre ein screening der letzten Stunden. Dafür würde ich auch ein bisschen mehr bezahlen.

Bin im Grunde sehr zufrieden mit dem verfügbaren Material. Warte jetzt noch auf Druckgebilde- und Frontenanimation über mehrere Tage und Strömungsfilm. Außerdem wäre historischer Verlauf von Wetterdaten an einem Ort über zu bedtimmenden Zeitablauf sehr schön!

Endlich eine App, die auch Isobaren und Fronten zeigt (beim Seewetter) und die Darstellung lässt sich zoomen. Wer also die gute alte Wetterkarte sucht, wird hier fündig. Infos statt Bildchen. Gefällt.
