### 2/5 — Won’t save to Apple wallet

*2026-07-19, version 12.2.14*

This is ridiculous that you used to be able to save tickets to Apple wallet and after the update no matter how many time you tick save nothing happens. Also incredibly annoying that you have to re log in to just look at showtimes and availability every time you change a date, time or movie.

### 2/5 — Good Design, Bad Functionality

*2026-06-01*

Redesign looks great, but i have to LOG IN THOUSANDS of times, even after i log into the app initially. Who wants to log in seven times to browse movie times? Its a joke. I even tap the "account" tab and it shows that i'm logged in, so the additional login prompts dont make any sense. I couldn't find a way to submit feedback in-app , which is why im reviewing. The app also doesnt save my favorite theaters. So frustrating to use. Hope its fixed soon.

### 2/5 — Want to Love It

*2026-04-06, version 12.2.11*

The app crashes as soon as I open it. I just use the browser instead.

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2026-01-17, version 12.2.11*

I paid the 20$ for the upgraded membership and the app crashes every time I t try and use it

### 1/5 — Personal account bug

*2026-01-16, version 12.2.11*

The app bug systematically when I open my account… it close the app automatically.

### 1/5 — Crashes Immediately

*2026-01-11, version 12.2.11*

I can’t use the app, it just immediately shuts down.

### 1/5 — TRASH

*2026-01-08, version 12.2.11*

It won’t save a user login, you have to manually login EVERY TIME THE APP OPENS. HOLY HELL THIS APP BLOWS

### 2/5 — Crashing

*2026-01-07, version 12.2.11*

App is currently unusable, as it consistently crashes seconds after opening.

### 1/5 — Can’t even launch

*2026-01-03, version 12.2.11*

I wanted to use this app after signing up for the membership but it won’t even stay open for more than a minute - comically bad

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2025-12-31, version 12.2.11*

Can’t find my theater. Keeps bringing up a theater in IL instead of Milwaukee 🥵

### 3/5 — We want more varied movies forget the multiplex!!

*2025-11-26, version 12.2.11*

I want to see movies that may not be at the multiplex. Palo Alto can support this

### 1/5 — You have one job

*2025-11-23*

All I want when I launch the app is a list of showtimes for the theater in my town so I can plan my day. Nothing more, nothing less. I expect this app to remember me, and to know the only thing germane to my goal: my preferred theater.

Instead, upon launch, I am forced to wade through pop ups about their loyalty program (even though I am already a member). And then I am confronted with a list of every movie that exists, regardless of where it’s playing. I find the UX to find and select my home theater to be extremely confusing, and I usually give up and go back to google to get what I need.

I do not buy tickets on the app because the box office is usually closed here at Uptown, and prepaying does not save me from a long, slow line at the concession stand, where they are doing their sales in addition to everything else. Just get me the info I need and illl be on my way.

### 1/5 — Non-functional

*2025-11-22, version 12.2.11*

This app crashes before it’s done loading. How do you present this to the marketplace in 2025?

### 1/5 — The crash out app

*2025-11-17, version 12.2.11*

All this app does is crash. I can’t be in the app longer than a few seconds before it crashes. It’s completely unusable.

### 1/5 — Impossible

*2025-11-14, version 12.2.11*

The app is so bad I can’t even use it for more than 30 seconds before it closes itself.

### 1/5 — Membership Part makes App crash

*2025-11-11, version 12.2.11*

The app crashes whenever I try to load my profile, which makes it impossible to present my PAID membership QR code/benefits… Seriously?

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2025-10-16, version 12.2.11*

The app crashes on launch. I’m a paid loyalty member, which might help you (app authors) diagnose the problem

### 1/5 — App incredibly unstable

*2025-09-26, version 12.2.11*

App crashes whenever I try to load profile or even showtimes. Unreliable and does not work

### 2/5 — Buggy App

*2025-09-11, version 12.2.11*

This app is really buggy. Most of the time, it’ll kick me out of a reservation when I’m in the middle of checking out, and when I go back go select my seats, they’re “unavailable” since they were reserved for me while I was initially checking out. So I have to wait 8 minutes to try and get the seats I want… again. At least it sometimes works? I’ll just stick to the browser website instead.

### 3/5 — The Inwood

*2025-08-15, version 12.2.11*

There’s only one
Landmark Theatre
In Dallas, so show us the dates/times of the screenings,
whether popcorn machine is broken or working, and let us come enjoy a movie! Otherwise this app has no benefit!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Continued app issues

*2026-07-27, version 12.2.14*

Even with the recent app refresh, most issues continue to plague this app. Constantly having to log back in any time you go from page to page is crazy. The app crashes all the time as well. It feels like someone just quickly changed the look without doing any backend improvements.

### 1/5 — Poor stability

*2026-07-02, version 12.2.14*

Can’t recommend the app, just use the website. I set my “favorite theaters” and then they disappear in the SAME MINUTE
I’m sure the devs are stretched because this is bizarrely unoptimized

### 1/5 — Please fix this

*2026-06-12, version 12.2.13*

I could barely log in and then I couldn’t buy tickets. Those are the two main things I want to do with the app.

### 1/5 — What a joke!

*2026-06-07, version 12.2.13*

I was excited to join their loyalty program and once I paid the $22.10 fee and downloaded the app, it crashes within 2 seconds. Looks like this has been an ongoing problem for the past few months based on others’ reviews, but there doesn’t seem to be a sense of urgency by the company to rectify the problem. Well, at least I now have a sense of expectation on what my first movie-going experience is going to be like (i.e., keep them subterranean).

### 1/5 — Closes out

*2026-05-19, version 12.2.13*

App closes 2 seconds after opening. Can’t even use it

### 1/5 — App quits after two seconds

*2026-04-23, version 12.2.11*

Every time I launch the app it quits after two seconds.

I have deleted the app performed a hard reboot, and downloaded the app with the same non-results

app was great when I just used it to check movie times and book tickets. I joined the loyalty program and paid $20 and the app has not worked since then.

iPhone 14 Pro iOS 26.3.1

### 1/5 — Unusable in 2026

*2026-04-15, version 12.2.11*

App just crashes if you try to load your account. Which defeats the whole purpose of using the landmark app instead of fandango.

### 1/5 — Crashes instantly!

*2026-03-08, version 12.2.11*

Does not open more than 2 seconds before crashing. Useless app!!

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-03-06, version 12.2.11*

This app is terrible. Crashes constantly.

### 1/5 — Buggy and unstable.

*2026-01-27, version 12.2.11*

The title of this review s says it all.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nice, clean, love the customer service!

*2024-08-18, version 12.2.7*

Had a great time at this movie theater! Was impressed with the how nicely I was treated!

### 5/5 — Plaza Frontenac

*2024-05-17*

I love the films they offer and that you don’t have to pick your set when you pay.

We would all like to know what’s going on with the renovations they have been telling us about for months. There has been nothing to show for it for months. The snack counter is pathetic . I still go there, but not for anything other than the films.

### 5/5 — Landmark theaters - there the fun starts before the movies

*2024-02-17, version 12.2.5*

These theaters are always clean outside and inside their lobby, restrooms and in each movie screening room inside their theaters.
They are also on top of cleaning the rest rooms and lobby areas where you find plenty of seating as you wait to enter into your screening room for your own movie choice snacking on popcorn and cold drinks while you wait comfortably. Theaters are always kept to the best temperature warm or cool. They are never freezing or stuffy and humid in the screening rooms for your film. You never have to leave the film because the projectionist started the film without sound or there’s sound, but you see nothing with no visual screen image at all for you.

Your not going to get sick after visiting their movie theater’s because the food is always properly refrigerated or frozen. When they cook it, it’s kept warm until you take it to your seat to eat as you watch your films.

I often go to see a double feature taking the whole day for movie fun. I arrive for the late morning first show or an early afternoon movie. Then I see my second film later that same day. I know they’ll have plenty of seating and more to drink or snack on until my next film starts.

I’m often home afterwards relaxed and rested after my movie date out retuning home that evening. I’m always happy after the entertainment I’ve enjoyed at Landmark. I’m often looking forward to my next visit to Landmark Theater, this is because in my opinion Landmark Theaters are America’s best movie experience ever. And I’ve been visiting movies since I was a child.

I’m about to turn 74 years old this March 2024, so that’s a lot of theaters. It’s a lot of movies I’ve watched popcorn in hand from California to New York City and Montreal, Canada to Vancouver, Canada. I’d say a few of Canada’s theaters come close, but for a regular sized theater Landmark Theaters are the best.

Theaters are always clean, safe and a totally enjoyable experience with friendly staff for every visit.

This all starts with entering the theater itself even before the fun of the film you’ve chosen to watch.

I challenge you to visit any Landmark theater and compare it to other movie theaters for cleanliness, courtesy, a strong sense of safety and delicious food and drink.

I can say you’ll Never be disappointed at a Landmark Theater because they put the costs to run it where it is always properly used for every single day they are open for business. Thank you Landmark Theaters.

### 5/5 — Staff

*2023-08-29, version 12.1.20*

This was my first visit and the entire team on Saturday night for the Rocky Horror Picture Show were terrible. I was dressed as a Transgender and they made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely visit again.
Thank you Team!!!

### 5/5 — The Eternal Memory

*2023-08-20*

Gentle down to earth full of tenderness on the shared journey of the husband victim of Alzheimer’s and his wife on the journey of his diminishing memory as time passes, reflects the deep compassion prioritized in Hispanic culture. An amazing non spectacular inner documented journey of the two walking and talking through the continuing ravages of the incomprehensible loss of cerebral function.

### 5/5 — Outstanding!

*2023-02-25*

I love this theater so much. When we heard the news that the old Laemmle Theatres 7 in Pasadena was closing, all of us art house movie lovers were very disappointed. This theatre was a very important part of the Pasadena Playhouse District in Pasadena California. Our concern was for good reason… because we very nearly lost that building to more high-rise condos, as if Pasadena was in need of more of those. When we got word that Landmark Theaters was moving in to save the day, we were all thrilled! And I was waiting with baited breath for it to open. It is finally here! it really would’ve been fine if they’d just moved in and just continued on from where the Laemmle left off. However, Landmark Theatres has made wonderful and significant upgrades that are very enjoyable, including comfortable recliner seats in the screening rooms, and a bar in the lobby. My sincere hope is that the community will all unite to keep this wonderful theatre open for good!

### 5/5 — The Way Movie Theaters Used To Be

*2022-11-12, version 12.1.16*

Attentive staff, comfortable seats, intelligent audiences. And oh yes … high-quality, insightful films.

### 5/5 — App doesn’t even work

*2022-10-30, version 12.1.14*

I downloaded this app in hopes of going to landmark more but the app doesn’t even work. It remains blank and won’t load anything

### 5/5 — Love the app — what happened

*2022-09-24, version 12.1.14*

Love this app, love going to Landmark theaters. But I can no longer see what showtimes are on the app at my local theater. It’s been a couple weeks and no update.

### 5/5 — Good ole Spectrum

*2022-06-24, version 12.1.13*

A very comfortable place. Mostly adults. 95% or more.
