I found this via a BBC news article about AI powered language learning but from a quick play couldn’t tell where the AI was - it all seemed to be structured around a fixed set of content and lesson progressions as all apps are. The voices seemed recorded and not AI generated. Where is the AI?

Curious mix of illustrations and stock photography

Sometimes the text translations are very small and hard to read. Sometimes the answers are translated and sometimes they aren’t eg in conversations. 

The app asked if I wanted to improve my speaking but I didn’t get to practice saying anything

The constant nag screens are annoying but hey… I get they want to sell subscriptions
