This is the kind of error identification that doesn’t contribute to learning just makes you exasperated ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2025-01-08, version 4.0.0* I initially loved this app so much so that I paid for a years subscription, but now something seems to have changed. The app is so glitchy and the bot’s voice sounds off now. Unfortunately, it was not recognising my subscription and I kept being asked to pay for a subscription again. I emailed the developers and they helped me to resolve it super quickly. I can see it is a problem for a few people so I hope they resolve it. ### 4/5 — It has a bug *2024-09-13* Quite often when it completes a conversation it just hangs up on a white page. You have to reboot the app to get it working again. Otherwise it’s a pretty good app for practicing speaking. ### 1/5 — Paid for a subscription that doesnt work. *2024-09-07, version 3.3.0* I paid for my annual subscription back in July, and in the app store it still shows up as an active subscription. In the app, however, im being told to ‚purchase a pro subscription’ in order to do more than one lesson a day. Was a great app for the couple months before this issue happened. LangAI still has some recognition problems, like when I said Fuchs it translated to Fuss, but it is easy to explain to the AI it’s mistake and it corrects itself. Also, it is very fun. Although I don’t want to sign up for premium, it is so fun that I want to do multiple lessons! Yet, you may allow to a user to look at the result of your very last message in the dialogue with the AI. It’s perfect for people who don’t have anyone to talk to but still want to do speaking practice. The app gives you many likely scenarios and you can practice how to respond to these scenarios in the language you’re learning. Great! ### 5/5 — Great app for speaking out loud *2024-09-30* This is a fantastic way to practice speaking your target language out loud in a conversational setting. The ai gets better and better, it’s even good at dialects within a target language. One qualm is that there is a new game mode that just doesn’t work at all, it doesn’t save your progress so when you go back into the app it won’t let you go to the level you’re at, and it also won’t let you start over. Also, I love the fact that if you don’t know a word in your target language & so you say it in English instead, it translates it for you. I also like the way you can use an English word if you don’t know the word in your target language and it translates it for you.
