## What is LangLearn?

LangLearn turns PDFs, text files, pasted passages, and original AI-generated learning articles into an interactive bilingual study workspace.

Read source text and its translation together. Tap a word, double-tap a sentence, triple-tap a paragraph, or select a longer range to hear it naturally and repeat it at your own pace. Sentence-level highlighting follows continuous playback in both panes.

Practice conversation with an optional realtime Assistant. Keep replies silent for an unobtrusive conversation helper, or enable spoken responses for a coach or another role you configure.

Highlights:

• Synchronized bilingual reading for configurable supported language pairs
• PDF text extraction with OCR fallback for scanned pages
• Qwen-powered learning articles with built-in categories, levels, custom prompts, and reusable configurations
• Word, sentence, paragraph, and continuous-document playback
• Local Apple translation and voices when supported
• Optional personal Aliyun provider key stored in iOS Keychain
• Optional LangLearn Cloud account with a one-time ten-minute trial and usage-bounded App Store cloud-time purchases
• Persistent on-device documents and Assistant sessions
• Explicit provider, microphone, voice-output, and privacy controls

The Reader does not require registration. Cloud providers are opt-in and are never selected as a silent fallback.
