### 4/5 — Great language app

*2018-07-21*

Language Adventures is easily my most used language app for speech therapy. As an SLP, I love the ease with which I can set up the game, as well as the ability to change between receptive and expressive responses. My students always get excited when I let them play and it makes data collection super simple for me. The only drawback is that I often have students working on the same goals and the same questions will be presented to multiple students within the same session. I also wish it would give a summary of which questions were answered incorrectly, so I could better analyze a student’s areas of need.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-08-20*

Great app, able to use this app with a wide variety of students on my caseload. For a wish list on a future upgrade - could you ad a feature where you could save the game for a certain group /groups to pick up where they where next time. Often, when working in the schools we run out of time before we can finish the game & have to start all over again the next time we meet.
Thanks so much!

### 5/5 — Great app

This app is very versatile and has many targets! Thank you, thank you for the recent update with even more targets!!

### 5/5 — SLP

*2013-05-11, version 1.3*

This app is great and a must have for your students. I love how you can select multiple goals for your group. I also like the receptive and expressive component to the app. My students love the board games. Thanks for a great app!

### 4/5 — Great app

*2013-03-22, version 1.3*

This is a great app. I love that the questions are read aloud. I wish the answer choices could be read aloud too so my students could use the app more independently.

### 5/5 — My favorite language app

*2013-03-03*

This app is worth the price! I love that you can select among many different language targets and then specify if you want to work on the skill expressively or receptively. This app targets so many different language skills at different levels that it works for most of my language delayed students. If you only have the funds to purchase one language app, then this is the one to buy!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2013-02-17*

Language Adventures is a great way to practice synonyms, antonyms, and multiple meaning words. Love the multiple levels so many different aga and ability level of students can play. My students are very engage in the game and forget that they are working. Thanks Smart Ears this is just what my SLP students like.

### 4/5 — Language Adventure

*2012-11-08, version 1.2.2*

This is a great app! I love that it has both expressive and receptive targets. The update has added even more targets. I find it hard to find apps to use with my middle schoolers but this one fits the bill with it's multiple levels.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2012-11-08, version 1.2.2*

Love this app and kids do too! Please add more areas to work on!

### 5/5 — Awesome ap!

*2012-06-25, version 1.0.1*

This ap has been so helpful with my language students for "reward time". They're playing a game while still working on language.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2012-05-18, version 1.0.1*

Love this- great for my younger kids as well as my late elementary kids. They love technology so getting to play an actual game is a big plus. Like how you can select the level and concepts to target for each student.

### 4/5 — SLP

*2012-05-18, version 1.0.1*

This app is great to use with speech and language groups! The kids love trying to answer the synonyms, antonyms, and multiple meaning questions. You can use it with any ages and no need to stress about dice falling on the ground!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2021-01-14*

Settings do not work. Written answers too small to read. As a long time customer, I would like a refund. NOT worth the expense.

### 1/5 — Not what I expect

*2014-09-23, version 2.1*

This App is not worth $24.95. It wasn't helpful at all. I wish I had purchased a different App.

### 1/5 — I should have know better

*2013-01-29, version 1.3*

The price of this app should have been sufficient enough for me to know I was about to be ripped off. Crash after crash and the slow game play disengaged my SL groups enough to delete it for good.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2012-04-13, version 1.0*

Would be great if I could get it to work. App closes after student rolls dice. Please fix

### 1/5 — Not working

*2012-04-13*

Level 1 is not working! As soon as I move the dice, it will go back to the main menu! Other levels seems okay! But my son is level 1, please fix the bug!

### 2/5 — Good concept but has issues

*2015-04-02, version 2.2*

This app has several questions that do not match the text when read aloud.

### 2/5 — Not working properly

*2014-11-06*

Whenever I try to import students from TRC and assign what they will be working on in the app, as we try to begin the game it says there are no goals for them to address. Also, if I try to edit a student in the app it will only pull up the very first student on the list. It makes me almost not even want to bother playing it because it takes too much time to go in and add the students manually, and then if I want to change any goals I have to delete them and add them all over again. This has been going on for this entire school year. It worked great last year. Please do something to fix it or I would like to get my money back!!!!

### 2/5 — Report cards not working

*2012-09-19*

My students and I were very disappointed that the results/report card feature is not working. We have written to the app support from the app itself and have received no reply as to what the problem might be. They, the students also are not liking that the die only rolls up to a count of three. I think just adding a four count would make it more of an exciting moment for them. The students also have remarked that the questions are repeating themselves. They don't like that they already gave the answer now the next person that gets the question knows what to say. These responses are from fourth and fifth grade students, which is the reason I purchased the program to have work for my upper grades. I am a speech-language pathologist in the schools but purchased this myself.

Wish I had a good point to make, but at this moment I am still just disappointed.

### 3/5 — SLPAnnie

*2015-06-24, version 2.3*

The games are basic but engaging enough. My only complaint is that the items presented at higher grade levels are definitely far too easy. The developer needs to research appropriate difficulty levels for each grade. Disappointing for such an expensive app.

### 3/5 — Good, but not worth 20.00

*2012-04-27, version 1.0.1*

This is a great game. It is engaging and well done. However, it is not worth 20.00. I think 4.99 is a more reasonable price.

### 5/5 — SLP

*2019-05-01*

Such a great app to target various language goals! I love that you can add multiple players and it's set up like a board game. Great overall app!

### 5/5 — Awesome language app!

*2019-04-30*

My older elementary school aged kids really enjoy playing Language Adventures. You can target so many receptive and expressive language goals at so many levels!

### 5/5 — My favorite language app

*2018-07-21*

This app is great for mixed language groups. You can target many different language goals, at different levels, plus you can specify if you want expressive or receptive responses. My students beg to play this app! It is a great app to purchase!

### 5/5 — SLPmlj

*2018-01-25*

This is my go to performance assessment & data collector. Students from kdg. through middle school enjoy use of game board technique. Teachers & parents appreciate instant emailed report and progress. As SLP I appreciate the variety of language areas, three levels of difficulty, receptive & expressive options. A "no regret" purchase.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2017-03-31*

I enjoy using this app with elementary age students. You can target multiple language goals at a time. Kids enjoy the game aspect of it. It makes planning for a session easier and it is a time saver. It's one of my favorite Smarty Ears apps.

### 5/5 — Excellent therapy tool

*2016-08-13*

This is a wonderful app that my students actually ask to play. They don't realize as they move along the board that they're practicing individualize language goals. And best of all it keeps the data for me. Bonus: no game pieces to lose.

### 5/5 — Still...One of my MOST favorite, but...

*2014-11-19*

I have an idea! Since you have added so much more capability (add your own questions, control dice roll, etc.), how about adding a few more theme levels so that I can customize to grade-level vocabulary? Maybe 1st grade field trip to the zoo! I would love to be able to assess 1st graders on 1st grade curriculum vocabulary using Language Adventures and they would love it even more. Please!

### 5/5 — Useful App

*2013-10-12*

I use this app frequently with my elementary students. I love that I can target many skills at once. Plus they love it and ask to play it all the time! They love to see their names when it says it's their turn.

### 5/5 — great app for my elementary students

*2013-08-24*

This is a great app. My students love working on this and they don't feel like they are "working." It provides a lot of options (wh- questions, multiple meaning words, synonyms, antonyms, etc.) so it can be useful for a variety of students.

### 5/5 — MelissaDSLP

*2013-08-24, version 1.3*

Language adventures is a fantastic app with a variety of levels that can focus on several aspects of vocabulary! The kids enjoy the game aspect while practicing! Love this app! Thanks Smarty Ears!
