So I’m now forced to change apps, find that word via google translate or similar flip back to this app to pronounce it. If that’s successful then just it asks for another different country forcing you to use the answer off-app. It’s not possible that someone TESTED this app for longer than 5 minutes before they released it. **Developer response:** Hi, our AI models are way more intelligent. All you need to do is tell him/her to explain (if you need more explanation after first try), or give you examples or just say her/him that you struggle (You can do these in your native language). Like a real teacher. And it will understand and guide you. Please write us from Live Chat and we will guide you. ### 1/5 — Self-important app *2026-08-07* Good luck with an attempt to skip the first, very elaborate, possibly truly professional and endlessly long battery of assessment language tests and simply try to speak with this language learning app as a humble language learner. You cannot skip it. It goes too far with the first assessment test. I simply dropped it. **Developer response:** Hi, what do you mean? Your review is not understandable ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-08-02* I don’t want to give them even one star, because their listening/speech recognition was really bad. Even when I repeated the same answer many times, it didn’t listen properly and gave me the wrong feedback/score. Meanwhile, the exact same pronunciation was correctly recognized by ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI apps. Also, there’s no refund — once you pay, they won’t return your money, and there’s no trial period. This was a horrible experience with this app. I don’t recommend it at all **Developer response:** Hi, We're sorry you had a bad experience. The conversations are no different than using ChatGPT in audio mode. I should’ve steered clear and the lack of free trial was a red flag I chose to ignore. The app’s performance varies by day. Some days it’s solid and others it’s almost impossible to use. If it worked consistently, I would continue using it because the conversational abilities of the agent are actually pretty solid. Today I reached a breaking point with it when the agent would not continue my lesson no matter what I tried. Restarting the app, prompting it to continue, nothing worked. I’ve reached out to “support” on the app, and have gotten no response. It seems like this app is not being improved or even actively updated. Long story short, this app is not worth the download and certainly not worth a paid subscription. **Developer response:** Hi, we’ve identified and fixed the issue you encountered, and the fix is included in version 2.2.89. Pronounced the same word multiple times in the correct pronunciation and it didn’t pick it up .
