### 1/5 — It doesn’t work and developer is rude to customers

I have a Lifetime Pro subscription to the Language Player 2 app, which I used to love and now it just doesn’t work. I downloaded this app hoping it would work where the other one is failing. I was pleased that my Lifetime Pro membership appears to have carried over to this new app, but was immensely disappointed when I tried to use the Dictionary search feature and the app crashed. I relaunched and tried again, two more times, and each time it crashed. If they fix it and it works, I’ll give it a better rating. But for now, don’t waste your time with this app as it just doesn’t work. Also, Jon Long, the developer, is incredibly rude and his policy of “no screenshots no fixes” (literal quote from him on the app’s Discord channel) is absurd.

**Developer response:** Hi i see it's dated aug 2.. that was the OLD version from 2024. We've just did a fresh rebuild of the whole thing, with readers, srs review, the works. This is effectively a brand new app. Please download the update and give it a spin – JON
