### 4/5 — Nice!!

*2014-01-10, version 1.03*

I like this app but ever since the last update the icon is blank. Please fix

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-09-28, version 1.03*

This app is great for working in vocabulary. I love that this company offers the ability to try apps before you buy!! Thanks

### 5/5 — Gives a great idea of each full app

*2013-09-28*

I downloaded this app because every time I read about Tactus Therapy's apps, I'm intrigued. This lite version gives a brief, yet thorough, look at each of these domains. As a K-2 speech-language pathologist, most of it IS too high for my kiddos (as the description says), but I did really like the naming therapy section. The color photographs are well done, visually appealing enough even for younger kiddos. And, I've had several second graders that were more than ready to be taught some naming strategies, and even the lite version was a good activity to use while addressing that.

### 5/5 — Fantastic for SLP's

*2013-09-27, version 1.03*

This app is amazing for adults with aphasia, but I've also used the writing app for my school aged clients who are working on spelling and phonological awareness. Definitely a good buy!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-09-27, version 1.03*

Love this app. I use it a lot with my higher level cognitive patients👍👍

### 4/5 — Great app!!

*2013-09-27, version 1.03*

Love it!! There are several options even in the lite version.

### 5/5 — Road back with great app

*2013-09-23*

My father suffered a stroke. The speech therapist recommended this app to help his recovery. We set it up on the ipad 1st gen my parents had but we couldn't get the sound to work. I reached out to the developers and they were great about walking us through the troubleshooting to discover a troublesome mute function on the hardware side. Good app, great support. Bravo!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2013-09-13, version 1.03*

I utilize this app along with many of the apps from the series that support the therapy needs of my patients with neurological diseases. I incorporate these apps in my patients home management plan. I am looking forward to any new apps in the future.

### 5/5 — Resource with variety

*2013-09-05, version 1.02*

This app has a lot of variety in tasks. I could focus on many different IEP goals with this one app. Definitely will consider buying the full version.

### 5/5 — Well blended literacy app!

*2013-03-11, version 1.02*

This app allows you to trial the four language domains taught including naming, reading, writing, and comprehension. whether you are a professional or parent haloing your child, it can be very helpful in deciding if the full version will meet your needs.

### 5/5 — Incredible Language Therapy App

*2013-03-06*

As a speech language pathologist, this is an incredible app for the adult hospital population. I would have died to have this when I was working with that population. It offers everything that you need. I am definitely considering buying the full version to work with my school population, because it offers a lot for the price.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Got ripped off

*2024-09-16*

Did the 2wks free, my credit card was charged for the next month and all I get is your subscription has ended. Tried to contact them and nothing.

**Developer response:** I'm sorry you had a bad experience with an app. Luckily, it wasn't ours! Our apps aren't subscriptions and this is a forever free version of our paid app that doesn't have an expiry. We also didn't receive any messages from you so we're even more confident it was a different app. I hope you manage to find the right app and resolve your problem.

### 1/5 — I do not recommend

*2019-07-21, version 3.18*

I downloaded this to assist with my child in speaking more fluidly. I don’t need help in reading, writing, etc., just speaking. With the trial (that you only receive 5 exercises for each of the four areas, none consisted of speaking. Yes, this is for individuals aged 4 and above, but when dealing with speech disorders, there generally is some sort of verbal drill. Then, the only option left is to pay for the full version. I am just going to find some free exercises online; I was really hoping this one would be ok.

### 1/5 — Poorly developed

*2017-07-15, version 2.03*

There is no way to go back to the home screen. If you press the home icon you get the choices to continue, try again, email, and buy. None of those take you to the home. You have to close the app to do so. I don't know how this would have gotten through any beta testing, it looks like it wasn't tested at all.

### 1/5 — Pointless!

*2016-07-31*

Wouldn't waste your time! Nothing but an option to buy! And at £44 I think I'll pass thanks!

### 1/5 — Free version rubbish

*2015-05-27*

What could be a good app, but free version rubbish with so little content its pointless, cannot even text it properly. Greedy app owners with expensive in-app-purchases. Avoid stick with glad cards

### 1/5 — Language

*2013-03-17*

Too bad your apps doesn't exist in french!

### 2/5 — Underwhelmed

*2013-07-31, version 1.02*

I picked up this lite version at the recommendation of my wife's speech therapist to help her recover from TBI. None of the features with audio work at all which means that about 50% of this already limited app isn't useful.

### 3/5 — Good

*2013-09-27, version 1.03*

Good app to try out

### 3/5 — Very organized and easy to use

*2012-10-11*

The app has very clear directions and lays out how to use the program. The trial has only one category, but the full version has over 700 plus you can make your own custom cards to suit whatever needs you have. The program has built in scoring that makes keeping track of the clients processing vey easy. The describing category is an awesome tool to help with language acquisition.

### 4/5 — Excellent therapy app!

*2014-02-05*

I would write this on the full version but as I use it at work and not at home iTunes won't let me. It's a fantastic app for use with all aphasic clients. The settings are very adjustable and allows graded increase in complexity. It's always nice to show the client where they started but setting the complexity at that level at the end of a burst of therapy. I've had great success with the comprehension, reading and writing aspects of this app. Great app, great medium and engages people well (off all ages).

So sorry for the mixup. The app I reviewed prior to this was not yours. Thank you for your response.

Wonderfully user-friendly!

### 5/5 — Try out a great app!

*2017-03-10, version 2.03*

I love that this Lite version allows you to try out all features with a limited set. Every SLP should download it to try it out.

### 5/5 — Try it!

*2017-03-10*

Great free way to test out this app and see if the full version will work well for your patients/students! As an SLP with a budget, it's so valuable to be able to play with the lite version of the app to decide if it's where I should spend my limited resources! (And with Tactus apps, I end up downloading the full versions for all of them - reasonably priced, evidence-based, and easy to use in structured therapy sessions.)

### 5/5 — Great!

*2017-03-10, version 2.03*

It's greeeaatt!

### 5/5 — Give them a try

*2017-03-10, version 2.03*

Wonderful apps for people with Aphasia to practice at home with a loved one or by themselves when ready.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2017-03-10, version 2.03*

As a speech-language pathologist, this is my go-to app for aphasia therapy and home programs. Easy to use, tons of materials, and activities based on clinical research. This Lite version is a great free test drive. Thanks, Tactus!

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2016-10-18, version 2.02*

Extremely helpful for my wife who has aphasia. Great way to sample some of the best Tactus Therapy apps. However, I highly recommended buy the full version. It's well worth the cost. Life changing for us.
