After downloading it during an outage and seeing how poorly it functions and what limited features it has, I’m not sure why it even exists, to be honest.

There’s no point for this app to exist as the map it provides is already on their website, and aside from that the whole thing just doesn’t work. You can’t select an address, you can’t see the outage status, nothing. It’s laughable honestly.

App does nothing useful. People with Consumers Energy accounts can get outage alerts and power restoration notices and they’re much bigger.  BWL needs to get with modern services.

Installed, logged in with new user ID. Then got stuck on “which address,” since the app popped up an oddly-shaped, narrow box with nothing in it.

Been nearly an hour since power out and no outages showing up on map. As soon as power went out I downloaded this piece of crap and reported my outage. I think they are putting these tools out there so it looks like they are on top of things during power outages. I had to wait for my local news station to post info about power outage to know for sure wasn't just me. LBWL has much work to do to improve their customer service! Guess I need to invest in a generator since I can't seem to count on them.

Thought this would have mobile bill pay or eservices as BWL calls it but no.. Get with the times. Every other utilities company, bank, credit card company etc has an app for bill pay. This app is useless.

Easy to use app can report power outage with a simple click!

It's cool that I can look at a power outage map and see that BWL is aware of outages in my area. However, it is COMPLETELY INSANE from an information security perspective that customers are asked to use the last 4 digits of their SSNs to login to the application to use other features of the mobile app.
