While we do play often in a normal 1-HR game it works fine but sometimes, we just want to play a free flow game when we have time. We’ve noticed with the update it just scrubs the game. We log in with the game gone... just frustrating when you had played the way for so long. A timer visible would at least give us some visual. Two complaints: The game doesn't keep me logged in and sometimes says it can't log me in, there are some mechanics of the game that aren't fully explained, and badge notifications don't work. ### 5/5 — Wonderful *2018-07-26* This is my favourite mobile game at the moment. Everything about this game makes me happy. The graphics are spot on. It is a lovely mesh of board game and mobile game. It is incredibly easy and intuitive to use, I’m never fumbling or making the wrong move. The music & sound effects are relaxing and suit the tone of the game. This game works beautifully as a mobile game because it’s solo variations make it a simple game to play whenever and wherever. The games aren’t terribly long (although the length does vary depending on how many players and the difficulty you set it on). You can also play the game online with other people which helps keeps things interesting. I am giving it a 5* review, because it is fun, bright, and graphics wise, is awesome. Best way I can describe the play of the game is, it’s similar to dominos, but more involved. I do like seeing the Koi swim around while playing, and the music is nice too, not real loud or horrible sounding to turn it off. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the upgrades on log-in have issues and it seems to be stuck when I was actually logged in and if I retry then I get an error. So right now I have tried try once, and the close the screen and go online again and it works. Hope they get an update soon. ### 3/5 — Can’t login since update... *2017-12-20, version 1.16.2* My old username and password no longer work, and even after resetting my password, I still couldn’t login. ### 5/5 — Sehr schönes Spiel *2017-05-10, version 1.14.1* Endlich mal ein geschicktes und durchaus taktisches Spiel, was gleichzeitig total entspannt abläuft. Dazu trägt das Regelwerk bei, das sehr einfach und schnell zu verstehen ist. Die Soundkulisse ist so schön wie die Animationen und überhaupt das ganze Interfacedesign. Challenges und die Erweiterung sind tolle Gimmicks! I had created an account with Renegade/Dire Wolf but when the terms and conditions appear on the screen within the app, there is no way to agree/disagree and no way to close the pop up without closing the app and starting from the beginning. This is causing me to be unable to play any multiplayer mode. ### 1/5 — Last turn broken *2021-11-15* When you’ve set yourself up perfectly to make the game winning dedication on the last turn and the current version of the game is broken so you never get that last turn, it takes all the joy out. Fix the last turn already! Clearly it has been broken for 6+ months. Thank you so much! ### 1/5 — v2 is buggy, drop in quality from previous version *2021-04-10, version 2.0.0* The new 2.0 version has more bugs than the previous version. Users were forced to update to play online games. Exiting games were lost. There are serious game play issues as well, for example not being able to play the last dedication round. Minor bugs with things like the “back” button’s localization string being “button.back”. I’m not going to play again until at least the next update. ### 1/5 — App frozen for weeks - used to be fun. *2017-12-18* 7/17 I used to really really really love this app! But it has been stuck for the past several weeks and none of my attempts to fix it or reach out to the developer have been successful. So, now this app is useless, which is really annoying since it's one of the few apps I actually paid money for. 12/17 STILL frozen after reporting this issue several times. Very disappointed that no effort is being made to resolve this issue, especially for a paid app! ### 1/5 — Didn't get friend code. *2016-11-15, version 1.12.3* Claims to support multi-player, but I never get the email. Checked junk mail folder, nothing. ### 2/5 — Unplayable on iPhone 12; final round rules wrong *2021-07-07* Update: still unplayable on iPhone 12 pro max and iPhone 12 pro after update. On both iPhone 12 pro max and iPhone 12 pro, the screen is all blown up and you can’t scroll around. Support responded once a month ago and then radio silence. Plays well on iPad. The game doesn’t follow its rules with the last update. There is no final turn-in round, and players can use the Emperor’s lanterns twice in the same turn. ### 2/5 — Online game ist furchtbar *2019-04-10, version 1.16.6* Das Spiel selbst, Graphic sind super. Was wirklich frustrierend ist, ist das Spielen online! Nicht nur dass die Punkteverteilung keinen Sinn macht und somit unfair ist, auch gibt es Zeiten an denen man sich überhaupt nicht über Tage einloggen kann. Außerdem wäre es cool wenn man mit seinen Gegnern in irgendeiner Form kommunizieren könnte -das geht nämlich auch nicht. ### 2/5 — Fun but Flawed AI Limits Replay *2018-12-10* It is a fun game, but it is infuriating to play. The main issue occurs when playing vs multiple AI opponents. Be aware that they will freely help each other get points. Ai2 needs a blue?100% chance that one of the other AI players will hand it over. Ai3 needs black to win over You and Ai1? Ai1 will happily give a black piece to its opponent. So be warned. This game is fun, but gets old fast as you watch the other players scheme out ways to ensure that you lose. ### 2/5 — Buggy app *2017-03-10, version 1.14.0* The game itself is great. My big issue is how buggy the app is. My hubby and I try playing the multiplayer game and there are times where the computer doesn't take it's turn. Totally not worth the $5 at all. The bookkeeping is all done for you, all the color and beauty remains. The two player game is the most strategic.
