I was born in Laos, but raised in America.  Even though Lao is my first language, I'm pretty much illiterate like thousands of other Laotians in the US.  The app is okay to get you started, but has room to improve.  I would suggest adding flash cards with the words and letters.  Maybe add some lessons/rules in there as well.  I used the app "its4thai", and that app is a million times better!

I updated the app on my iphone and then the app stopped making the sounds. Nothing happens when I tap the letters. This seems to be a bug!

This is a good app for children. My kids just love it! The only thing we need is adding Vientiane' accent :-)

Can you please update your app so it’s compatible with IOS 11? I really love this app because it helps me with learning my native language! I can’t learn though since it says it needs to be updated. I have an IPhone 6s if that helps with anything

I'm glad that I found this app. It's been a great tool in trying to introduce the Lao alphabet to my wife and young daughter. My daughter loves playing and gets a kick out of the cartoons. Excellent job Souliya, please continue creating more Lao apps to help keep the Lao language strong in our children.

I got the app for my daughter and she has learned to pronounce words clearly.  I will even use it for my own personal use since my Laotion is now bad from not speaking as I got older.  Many Laotion Americans say speaking is good enough, well it isn't if you don't learn how to read and write.  I recommend this App for supplementing your learning with books, Lao TV or friends and family.

I'm really excited to see Lao apps on the App Store. I'm very grateful to Souliya Sivilay for making these apps. I'm using them to teach my 2 year old daughter Lao. They do a great job introducing native Lao sounds of the letters and words!
