I learned a lot of phrases on here that I use with my mother in law. The best practice is to speak directly with someone but When I’m alone I get on this and I remember a lot of phrases from the first time I used it! It might be really proper words that people don’t use but it’s a start somewhere. ### 1/5 — No sound *2015-05-11* App didn't provide sound on any of the words I tried nor for the audio lesson. I'd be willing to try again if this was fixed. Format seems easy if it had audio. ### 4/5 — Lao Learner *2013-10-27* Great app to Learn basic Lao phrases. It has sound for some words, but not all, but it helps with the most simple ones like numbers and greetings. I recommend to anyone visiting Laos or learning the language to take a look at this app. ### 1/5 — Disappointing app! *2013-07-07* My family speaks the language fluently, so i've been wanting to learn. It turns out many of the phrases are actually Thai and some have very awkward vocabulary, some of the big phrases can be said in much simpler words. Some if the grammar I completely off as well. Also, the foreigner in the audio says "penis" multiple times instead of "I". It should be mentioned that the inflection is very important when speaking Lao.
