### 2/5 — Race tracks have bad internet

At least where I live, race tracks are far from civilization and have very bad connectivity. As such, the experience of using this app *at* the track, which is presumably its primary intended purpose, is quite frustrating because of its absolute dependence on continuous network connectivity. Worse, if cell service is so bad that the track provides WiFi, you can’t connect to it because your device is connected to your AiM system’s WiFi for downloading sessions. Nothing this app does actually requires a server - I would like to see a version of it that works fully offline.

**Developer response:** Hey there, thanks for the feedback! We've recently shipped an update that significantly reduces loading times via local caching. We've also updated session upload retries so it should gracefully handle poor network connections. There is still an online requirement but it should be much less noticeable in version 2.4.2+. We're looking into a fully offline mode but don't have an ETA on that yet.

### 3/5 — Cool idea but needs upgrades to make it worth the cost

Love the idea. It’s awesome to be able to upload laps right at the track with my phone. Shows cool data and is easy to use. 

However, you can’t have two drivers so if you have multiple people you are managing, best of luck signing in and out to switch.
You can only upload one session at a time. So unless you are running long continuous stints, it’s cumbersome to download each session. My son runs kart so each session is 10-15 min long. He will do that for 4 hours. That’s a lot of individual sessions to download. Needs a batch download. 
Finally, you only get one download a day or you have to pay. I’m happy to pay for an app but the cost of it does not equate to what you are getting. Unless you can batch download, manage multiple drivers in one account (otherwise I have to have two pro accounts), can search and organize sessions, it is just not worth the cost. 
Hopefully, these improvements will be made.

Would love to see some type of batch download of sessions.  I tend to download at end of day (takes too long)

Another great feature would be a rider summary page with fastest lap time for every track.

Fantastic app overall but a lil buggy.
Profile picture will not save, deleting laps only works if you swipe all the way left. 

Connecting to the aim solo 2 struggles a lil also.

Other then those mentioned things the app is really great.

These spikes make the entire lap data useless

Wonderful idea to get the chance of downloading and analyzing your racing sessions right on the track without the need of a computer, but it still requires some optimization. For example, long sessions (ie., over 10-12 laps) crash during the download. Also, the race line is not very reliable and sometimes gets you out of the track. Willing to get a subscription if those details were solved!

Connected to my Solo 2 DL & after many tries, managed to download a single session. Will
not download additional seasions & keeps loading when refreshed & trying to connect again to the device. Definitely take your laptop to the track, not worth the headache.

Collego il mychron 5 al Wi-Fi dell’iPhone, torno sull’app per effettuare il collegamento tra mychron e telefono: in 2 mesi non ha mai trovato nulla. Peccato.

Too expensive for the very little data you can review. Can pull data from one session before being asked to subscribe for £8.99 per month to pull anymore data. 
Needless to say I won’t be using it anymore

Continuing to get data error issues which admittedly may be a fault of my own but nowhere in the app can I find a help or support feature. Again might be my error looking for it but not easy to find

I paid for the app last year because it’s just a great idea. Unfortunately it won’t add my sessions, despite being able to select them. Ugh!

I really wanted an alternative to have a PC at the track, but this is not it. I could not get it to sync under multiple attempts and options. It’s a waste of time. Don’t try the subscription.

Doesn’t consistently connect to Aim Solo DL 2, takes about 5 minutes to download a single session, and then it hangs when I try to open a downloaded session. 

Will keep bringing a laptop and will wait for AIM to come out with their own app (if they ever do)

Ho scaricato l’app, ho fatto l’accesso con Facebook, la creazione dell’account con mail e password non funziona ( pazienza).
Ho collegato il Wi-Fi del telefono al Mychron, ho aperto l’app e scaricato una sessione, l’ho analizzata e per questo l’app è fatta bene.
PECCA MOLTO GROSSA 
Per scaricare una seconda sessione occorre pagare e passare alla versione pro
Per vedere dati aggiuntivi( non si sa quali siano i dati aggiuntivi ) occorre pagare e passare alla versione pro.
Consiglio allo sviluppatore di fare una versione free per appassionati che permette di scaricare e visualizzare i dati base, e di fare una versione pro per agonisti dove viene data la possibilità di vedere tante informazioni aggiuntive

Synced with my MYCHRON5s without any issue via WiFi.  It has to have connectivity to the net, if not you’ll have to switch back and forth for every session downloaded like I did with my iPad not having the data plan activated.  Otherwise I plan to switch from monthly to yearly at the end of my first month.

Absolutely love that I can avoid bringing my PC with me for data review at the track. 

Last update seems to have broken the upload capabilities, I'm unable to load any sessions as my cars aren't showing up when downloading. 

Otherwise a total game changer. 🔥🔥🔥

It is a great app, i have an AIM Solo 2 and an Iphone 12 and works smoothly. I still can't find a closed circuit and had written to Daniil almost two months ago… still waiting though.
It would be awsone (in so many ways) to be able to share one lap using Whatsapp. Maybe only the track part, no all the data.
I an sure better versions will come!!

This app is exactly what we’ve always wanted - a quick and easy way to get lap data from the device without needing the laptop. The data you can analyse is fairly simple but it’s visual nature is perfect for fairly novice drivers and great for more experienced drivers to take a quick look or make a quick comparison between laps , without having to download all the data and spend hours reviewing. 
We had one issue with the app which was resolved by the developer quickly. Fantastic app, filled a really useful gap in the trackside market

Now you can analyze your lap times in detail from your AIM solo or GoPro camera. Still needs some minor tweaks, but it’s definitely best offer on market
