LAPS is a free tool from Microsoft that randomises the local password on each managed windows endpoint. This unique password and its expiry date is securely stored in Active Directory attributes and viewable only to authorized accounts. LAPS is a great tool to prevent lateral movement and privilege escalation “Pass the hash” attacks.

Please fix the font so we can tell the difference between certain characters like uppercase i and lowercase L. If I see a password with multiple I L characters it’s easier to use my PC to pull the LAPS password. Otherwise works great.

I have used this product extensively to assist in our LAPS protected environment. The functionality is excellent and search speed is very fast.

The developers are fantastic. I requested an enhancement and they quickly responded with a personal email to me and updated LAPSSIGNIFY with my request soon afterwards.
