Workaround is to save a copy after setting up but have to load it once a while when machine resets. I love how it maps the house but if it gets confused it will not know where it’s at and add rooms beyond the already mapped ones. The app spells “rechaging” incorrectly. The app constantly glitches and changes your house or renames rooms. It’s difficult to split rooms and most of the time it fails. To split or merge. I wish you could delete rooms or areas that aren’t accurate. I wish you could change room colors. Overall, I love the app but the app doesn’t seem to love itself. The menus are user-friendly. Everything is very clear, but it drains my battery very fast and my phone gets very hot. For example, I keep telling my vacuum to go mop. 10 minutes later it says it’s going back to the charger having only mopped part of the floor, even though it still has 92% of a charge left. Also, it has part of my living room included in the kitchen cleaning area. Losing all information typed. Really frustrating. Also the FAQ isn’t helpful as tells you the wrong instructions for how to report an issue as the option doesn’t exist as described. i.e. click on Me and Help Centre. Help centre isn’t there so have to find it by saying the information isn’t helpful and then get option to report. ### 1/5 — No use don’t work *2025-04-21, version 1.0.1* This app is useless. It won’t do anything. It does not connect to device gives no help and too complex to do anything. The app keeps wanting to to gain access to your phone and accounts but does not work so not sure if it is a scam. Best not to use. In fact only 2, the vacuum struggled to find its location and decided to try and create a new map. I even put that down to having recently moved and as I moved furniture around and removed empty boxes it got confused. There aren’t any descriptions of what some things mean, like “Depth Clean”. What makes that different versus regular clean? There is only one voice option for English. The Robot says “I a-m here” instead of “I’m here” or “I am here” when using the “Find robot” option. The main issue is that it loses the robot connection constantly. ### 5/5 — Reliable and functional *2022-11-21, version 1.0* Stable iOS performance and adequate functionality. A couple of things that should be more clear are: 1. What Do I do when I need to change the location of the dock? 2. How do I troubleshoot when the vac keeps redrawing the map as though we’re in a whole new house?! 3. How do sync to Alexa? It said I could in the product description, but those seem to be empty promises as there is no skill on Alexa or for Laresar or Laresmart. ### 4/5 — Overall Decent *2026-02-26, version 1.0.2* Overall I like the app. Very easy to use and figure out. I like how it auto detects the rooms. On the downside, editing the map and splitting rooms can be very frustrating when splitting rooms fail. The app glitches sometimes and deletes your entire house layout.
