"Larix Broadcaster is a free mobile broadcasting software for iOS…" - that's what the official website claims. But unfortunately, that's only half the truth. The full truth? Want to stream? Want to stream without the 60-minute limit? Then pay up. It really used to be completely free before.

Innanzi tutto ha un costo esagerato 10) al mese è troppo, ha un ottima stabilizzazione che nessuna altra app ha ma nel 2024 non ha tante mancanze tra cui io bonding tra le linee che chi fa irl è importantissimo, e non ha neanche la possibilità di collegare dispositivi come dji si ha la doppia cam punti di forza assoluta ma, ripeto senza l’ aggregazione delle reti e l’impossibilità di collegare dispositivi esterni la rende limitata. Poi ancora il controllo remoto è troppo costoso una persona dovrebbe pagare 20€ al mese, troppo per questo solo 2 stelle

Seemed to be reliable and fully featured. Then then started charging $10/m or $120/yr and even though I paid, I get a stupid red text warning overlaid on the video saying I need a subscription. How ridiculous. Need to get a refund then move on

Was looking to stream my kids ball games but $10/month for a couple games is way to much for how much I use it. Needs to be cheaper or have a lifetime license. There isn’t a lot of updates to the app so it’s just greed at this point.

Love this broadcaster but if there were two things I wish it had… video stabilization that worked. Lots of settings but none work. Also wish there was a feedback mechanism in app vs having to go write a review with feedback for an app I pay monthly for. :)

This app works great and has great customization features. Especially in regards to quality for low bandwidth environments. 

My only issue is the auto focus, the app will auto focus every other second and you can see it on the app and on the stream. If you change lenses, it’ll help a little but if you do it while transmitting then the audio encoder will crash and make everything sound like chipmunks. If these issues didn’t exist, I’d give 5 stars.

Had no problem with paying monthly fee except now there are more bugs than ever!! Latest bug makes overlays upside down when using live rotation mode, is there anyone even testing this app before releasing new versions? Not to mention it now crashes freq and does not support srtla … it was a good app I will give it one more week to fix the upside down overlays before deleting and cancel my monthly sub.

I loved the app when it was free now that it has subscriptions with bugs that have been there since the beginning it sorta is disappointing to see. The bug that I been running into is while swapping between cameras it sometimes causes the application to drop all audio. If that was fixed possibly maybe I’d consider getting the subscription but until then I’ll see myself out. All I can ask is to please reconsider I get it is better to get paid for your work but at least fix the bugs before you decide to make it a paid product.

Instead of offering new, add on features behind a paywall, developers blanketed a $9.99 monthly charge on everything.

Greedy and deceitful.

First for the developer: Can you add a switch to disable the iPhone’s image stabilization? I am streaming from a moving vehicle, and the smallest windshield vibration causes the stabilization to over correct resulting in jello. (It’s the phone not the app) I don’t know what else to say about this app, but it just does what it is supposed to. No gimmicks, no problems, just runs perfectly for hours on end. I used it with an iPhone 6 for 8hrs a day over 10 days to feed live storm chase video online. Flawless.

I understand I need to make money, but there should be an unlimited option even if it’s just with a watermark caps out at an hour, do you want premium features then you pay for those features but not everybody has the funding to pay what you guys are requiring the changes that have taken place is nothing short of being greedy a lot of other options out there rethink what your customers want and not what your wallet wants

What a joke. Fix your pricing.

Я стример больше 4лет после того как одна программа стала платная решил посмотреть эту программу) с меня за месяц сняли 1000 рублей в итоге картинка хуже чем в призме, хдр не работает, после часа стрима трансляция перестала работать, попробовал через стримить через сервис стреam vi постоянно вылетает. Стримил через rtm ссылку. На ютубе 21к подписчиков все просто смеялись вчера от таких танцев с бубнами. У меня вопрос за что такие деньги вы берете? На вашем ютуб канале непонятные гайды попробовал найти других блогеров и гайды по вашей программе их просто нет 😂 для простых стримеров как я с ютуба не рекомендую эту программу

I have no issue with paying for good software, I even prefer it over the freemium / ad method. But for what this app does it’s hard to justify the cost. The watermark  covers the entire screen and the time limit basically makes this a demo app unless you pay $10/mo or $120/year. Those are the only options. 

Would be great if the dev introduced a more limited feature set for people that simply need a singular feature. I’d happily even pay an annual subscription at a more reasonable price to unlock non-watermarked RTMP streaming without a time limit.

PRISM LIVE isn’t as feature rich but it’s very reliable and you get a usable RTMP streamer at no cost with only a very tiny watermark in the corner and no time limit.

When using as rtsp streamer, should take ip of phone. Doesn’t seem setup correctly for this. Other more basic apps work with 1 click. This is all I needed maye app simply isn’t for me.

This company screwed its customers by taking a free application and then making it a monthly fee. They jumped from the best option, to the absolute worst option. I don’t mind if they make this app a one time purchase, I’d even be willing to spend $100 on it. But I’m not paying a monthly fee just to possess an app. They don’t provide any monthly service, you have to provide your own details into the app. So they are literally collecting free money every month.

UPDATE: I did update to your new version from 2 days ago, and the rotation bug is NOT fixed for overlays on PREVIEW, which I use extensively to read live chat and alerts! Its still upside down on preview and only right side up on the live end feed. Please test your product because its frustrating having to pay subscription for the product and be your QA as well. I use the software 5 days a week and this has been broken for 2 versions now, I can now only broadcast without live rotation mode until this is fixed… very frustrated.

O app é muito bom!! Muito completo não sei se tem sistema de replay que eu preciso para transmissão! Mas é uso e recomendo app excelente quase perfeito. Quando  adicionar replay no aplicativo vai ficar bem melhor ao vivo e vídeos ao vivo de propagandas vai ficar mais perfeito! Excelente app parabéns aos idealizadores.

As someone who works with multi-million dollar streaming encoders for a living, I have to say that this app was fantastic. I had a small wedding to stream over the weekend for a friend of mine so I decided to try this app. I got a month subscription, plugged in an external audio interface (Scarlett 2i2) and ran the stream with great picture and amazing audio. Paired it with a solid fluid head tripod and a MagSafe tripod mount and it was a dream setup. 

I do want to add that I had poor service where I was, around 2 Mbps upload over cellular on all three carriers and no WiFi. This caused a few dropouts but nothing the app could’ve done differently. I recorded a continuous high bit rate version for the family to share. This was a life saver!

Amazing, but using a Bluetooth mic works for a short timed. But then it crashes the entire audio stack . 

Only terminating and restarting the app will recover it. 

I hope you can fix that for a subsciber(me) , I don’t want to move away , but I’ll have no choice. 
What do need to make this fox happen ?

Wish I had found this earlier. A lot of thought has gone into this app and I really like the control available for overlays / layers. Live streaming sport, so the ability to easily add sponsors’ logos is great.

I have now used this app to stream live sports for prolonged periods and I cannot fault the app or the support team on the few occasions I have asked them questions. This app is extremely reliable and compared with other apps I have tried, it is remarkable that the developers have managed to resist creating a subscription based serviced until now. If you want a reliable app with top features and excellent support then this is the app to choose for your live streams.

Thanks guys for your huge effort i really like this app its like a masterpiece for the streaming community

I have some suggestions.:
1.Can you please add. A way to set custom resolution and make the image adapt to that resolution like how OBS works you set a custom canvas size and you can resize your image and stretch it as much as you want.

2. Can you add way to input external sdi source or hdmi source using external usb capture card like the magewell usb capture plus, this would be awesome with apple silicon ipads

HUGE plus is Softvelum is privacy respecting (for now, hopefully forever) and their app does not ask for access to ANY unnecessary personal information such as your entire camera roll etc. I avoid any apps that do not respect privacy and ask for permissions that are not necessary for the app to function. This is worthy of 5 stars now after the update. Great job Guys!

I agree with the previous review.  Sometimes you run into hidden gems in the store.  This is one. 

I was looking for a way to setup multiple cameras to RTSP servers. If you understand RTSP, RTMP and SRT protocols, even at a rudimentary level, this app is ridiculously easy to use, intuitive and effective.  

The ability to send links to people with Grove to instantly setup their connection or scan a QR code for config, such a great feature.
