### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2026-08-12, version 6.5.11*

The coaching part is limited and I have used better tracking apps

### 4/5 — Not bad

*2026-08-12, version 6.5.11*

I used this app for about a year and a half. It was great for tracking food, sleep, and activity but had a few problems. I was given a scale and a bp monitor. The scale worked with Bluetooth but I could not get the bp monitor to work pair to the app. It does run pretty slow and if I needed to go out of the app real quick when I went back in it didn’t save any of my progress and I had to start all over. It also didn’t give me an option to go back and do the weekly missions that I missed. But overall I enjoyed the app. It became part of my morning routine.

### 4/5 — My review

*2026-08-02, version 6.5.10*

I like the multiple choices for interaction with the coach. But would be awesome if I could also type my own thoughts

### 3/5 — Not extremely helpful

*2026-07-24, version 6.5.10*

Meal entry is confusing. There is no real interaction with a human and the AI generally sucks. If you enter a meal incorrectly (all in one text field) not only can it not split it up for you, nor does it allow you to edit it to split on your own. I use it to track daily weight since it shipped with a cell-enabled scale.

### 2/5 — Good app for some

*2026-07-22, version 6.5.10*

The app would be much better if there was a button for “talk faster” and “I know this already”. Otherwise it reads as condescending and annoying. I’m losing weight in spite of this app, not because of it.

### 4/5 — Choosing health

*2026-07-18, version 6.5.10*

Very helpful to get small bite size changes to make a big impact on health. Just know you need to be patient in using it. It can be slow to load and error out easily.

### 5/5 — Awesome Ap

*2026-07-17, version 6.5.10*

Has helped me stay on track and track my meals and medications extremely well.

### 5/5 — Easy Peasy

*2026-07-16, version 6.5.10*

Easy to use and helps to keep you active and aware of what you eat.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-07-01, version 6.5.9*

Make my day very good questions and follow up

### 4/5 — Useful App

*2026-06-30, version 6.5.9*

Pretty cool. I received a free smart day and the app is pretty supportive when it comes to coaching and validation.

### 4/5 — Keeps me engaged

*2026-06-27, version 6.5.8*

I’m new to this app but so far I like the way it keeps me engaged and not too drawn out. No lengthy articles or lectures.

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2026-06-22, version 6.5.8*

This app is very helpful. I have to use it for insurance purposes for a med I take but its very helpful with food logging, etc.

### 5/5 — Lark app

*2026-06-21, version 6.5.8*

I love this app it keeps me on track and gives me useful information and tips. GREAT IN SIGHTS

### 3/5 — Remove chat or accept input

*2026-06-19, version 6.5.8*

This could be a really great app, but it is centered around chat. That is 100% one sided. The “coach” accepts only digital input from my devices. For example, when I’m having a “discussion” about physical activity, it does not understand and will not accept any text input about the level of my chronic pain which limits my tolerance for activity. So, rather than leveraging artificial intelligence, which is now the standard for chat-based computing, Lark has chosen complete ignorance of the user. If you’re going to have a chat, don’t make the only responses “OK” and “Got it”

### 4/5 — Easy to use

*2026-06-19, version 6.5.8*

Easy to use and good reminders to weigh and talk about your meals and exercise

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-06-10, version 6.5.8*

Got the app from my wife’s insurance through her employer love how quick easy and convenient it is

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Reductive, Insulting ‘Healthy’ App

*2026-07-09, version 6.5.9*

I only got this because my insurance decided to stop paying for a med and this is a hoop I had to jump through.

This app is AI. It gives you no ability to actually have input on your health.

It’s basically a glorified ankle monitor that holds your sense of self worth hostage. It mandates obsessive weigh ins which flies in the face of known medical and psychological constants that obsessive weight focus causes eating disorders. But sure, my insurance company gets to make money.

### 1/5 — Not functional

*2026-06-29, version 6.5.9*

App doesn’t allow users to access anything but a single, niche program with strict eligibility requirements. All other functionality is inaccessible.

### 1/5 — Goals without data

*2026-06-28, version 6.5.8*

The very first thing the suggested was to lose weight without any data except my starting weight.

### 1/5 — This app sucks

*2026-06-25, version 6.5.8*

There is almost no interaction with you, it all instruction and instruction. Absolutely no questions about your situation and what your plans are just it’s plan for you I hate this app

### 1/5 — Does not log properly

*2026-06-03, version 6.5.1*

Does not log properly will not add food data

### 1/5 — Lame AI

*2026-05-28, version 6.5.1*

I haven’t use this so my insurance will cover my medication. It’s just AI and not personal at all. I had to give it a star but I’d rate it 0/5.

### 1/5 — AI slop, insurance scam

*2026-05-28, version 6.5.1*

My insurance is refusing to give me my medication unless I use this app- which honestly should be criminal. The app is nothing but an interface for an AI chatbot with no actual nutritional experience at a personalized level. The responses you can give it are all pre-selected, either “Yea!” Or “ok” for example. The scale uploads all weight readings automatically- which is a problem when you live in a house where a bunch of people want to use the scale and you spend most of the time deleting weight readings. You can adjust meal times but not meal type. AI gives you generic common sense nutrition advice, sometimes some of which is impossible— and all you can do is give it a positive reply from one of the preselected options. It’s a generic- railroaded decision tree experience used to try to justify the ever deepening cost of AI in our society.

### 1/5 — Ai slop

*2026-05-22, version 6.5.1*

Got this as a benefit with my insurance but it feels like just a way for them to collect data off your health app while having their ai give you mediocre advice.

### 1/5 — Beyond annoying

*2026-05-14, version 6.5.1*

This app is beyond trash.

Want to log your breakfast? You can’t because it’s past breakfast time and you can’t change it from lunch to breakfast.

Need to interact with the coach or ask a question? You can’t because it only supports pre-canned responses to choose from.

Absolutely the most frustrating piece of trash app I’ve seen in years.

### 1/5 — Poor activity tracking

*2026-05-12, version 6.5.1*

App misses most of my daily activity. Often, my 70 minute walk is missing while it is fully captured in apple health. Entering food is very slow and it does not allow you to make changes in items that are very wrong. The food data is incorrect and not worth using. It does work well with the lark scale and I like that feature.

### 5/5 — Kept me on track!

*2026-08-26, version 6.5.11*

I heard about Lark and downloaded the app to help me overcome weight, eating habits and bring my A1C down. Lark provides great information which allowed me to gain new habits and leave the old ones behind. I have lost over 100lbs and this was a great tool in my toolbox. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Lark Health Review

*2026-08-06, version 6.5.10*

I really enjoy learning about how the foods I eat affect my body. I am trying to be more proactive as to what I eat. The learning has me feeling better and losing weight. I am also happy with the constant reminders I need to be more active and the resources I need to find time and quality works outs. Thank you! Have a blessed day!
