Nightgate was one of the best games I’ve played on the phone. 

This one however is super frustrating and just doesn’t have the same charm. It’s more annoying than anything else and I die a ton. 2 stars. Boooo

Die App ist wahnsinnig gut gemacht, es gibt da aber eine Kleinigkeit die mich stört: Bei allen iPhones, welche keinen Home-Button mehr haben ist leider dieser weiße swipe Indikator unten im
bild zu sehen. Wenn dieser ausgeblendet werden würde wäre es noch viel besser.

It’s weird because if part 1 of the game breaks from traditional and almost presents you with some relaxing scenarios (calling them puzzles would be just too harsh) part 2 introduces those frustrating elements in an iPad game we try and steer away from. Part 1 has relaxing visuals, part 2 frustrating tilt controls and rubberband mechanics. Hey ho, part 1 get’s a 5 star part 2 gets a 1 star...

・ゲームの操作性は賛否両論あるみたいだが自分は不快には思わなかった。
・サウンドや色彩は結構好き。
・しかしゲームの内容がありきたり過ぎるかな...。既存のゲームに同じようなのあったかも...。それぞれの章のコンセプトを伝えるのに十分な工夫があったのは感じられるが、新鮮なものではない。
・ステージ数が少ない。もっとゲームの世界観を知りたい。逆に言うと次回作には結構期待してる。
・他の人が言うように、少し単調かもしれない。世界観を失わない程度に、もう少し仕掛けを増やして欲しい。あるいは、奥に進むともう少しデザインが変わるとか。
・ステージの切り替わりに表示される「読み込み中」の表示は世界観にあってないものだと思う。少し興ざめかな...。

期待してます。次回作。

This game has some beautiful art and music, but in the end it feels like random puzzles stitched together without much of a point. Some of the puzzles are too easy, and some are punishingly difficult. The Skip button was a welcome addition. Overall, it’s an experiment that has some interesting moments but is ultimately not for me.

A weird and oversimplistic game about nothing. For me, it has a similar melancholic vibe as Monument Valley, but Last Voyage totally fails at giving satisfying and interesting gameplay. It’s actually a set of very simple arcade and puzzle stages not really connected to each other.

Gorgeous graphics and music, superb atmosphere.
A game that will stay in your mind for long.

Simple puzzles to solve, but the real puzzle is to understand what to do. Quite hard arcade mini games.
Mysterious, engaging charming.

Alert: It lacks a clear ending.

If you’re looking for a calming or beautiful puzzle game like Monument Valley or The Room, this is not it. There are two or three “ingenious puzzles” in here, but they are short-lived, and separated by endless runs of flying-obstacle-avoidance interspersed with endless scrolling landscapes with nothing to do. An OK game if free, but designers did not put enough thought into this to justify the $4.99 price.

Je me suis fiée aux avis et regrette vraiment mes 5,49€...
Une espèce de trip pseudo relaxant plutôt agaçant, des citations philosophiques à 2 sous, daté visuellement, pas ludique, parfois à la limite du jeu d’éveil pour enfant de 3 ans.
Bref, je m’attendais à des vrais bons casse-tête et me suis plantée (le vrai casse-tête c’est de trouver un jeu intelligent et divertissant ces temps-ci 🤔)

본드 마시고 만들었나 싶기도 한데 돈 내고도 기분더럽게 할 목적이었다면 성공한 어플임
그렇다고 게임성이 있느냐하면 지 지읒대로 만든 게임이라 레벨링도 지읒같고
앞뒤없이 제작자가 원하는대로만 깨도록 만들어놓은 유사게임

The puzzles barely count as such: they're all incredibly easy and can be completed in about 10 seconds each. The arcade sections are really annoying and unfun. One of them involves swiping, always alternating between left and right, every 5 seconds. It's exceptionally easy, and seems to go on forever. It takes up an entire chapter; each chapter contains one general idea, and lasts about 5 minutes, not accounting for repeated failure. 

Chapter 7 involves tilt controls (surprise tilt controls in a game not based on them are almost never fun), and uses them poorly: the first section of it is just aligning the device to the specific angle required, and the second is one of those marble tilt things. Except rather than a marble it's a bowling ball made of osmium and you're rolling it around in an ice skating rink. 

Chapter 6 is literally just some blurry underwater videos and a poem with no gameplay whatsoever. 

Two of the chapters involve swiping a Thing which constantly moves forward to avoid Deadly Things in it's path. Not a very original idea, and this execution of it is just awful. Swiping off the edge, which is rather easy because of how much momentum the Thing has, is a game over. And there's non-obvious colour coding, too, as only Red Things are deadly. Every time you die it does say "avoid red things" (along with a suggestion to enable inverse controls, which is absolutely bonkers for swiping), but there's no indication that white things should be similarly avoided. And the detection range on the red things feels way too wide, extending past how big they are visually.

All in all, unless you really want the somewhat pretentious abstract aesthetic that badly, the gameplay makes this game completely terrible.

Even though it isn’t optimized for the new taller aspect ratios f modern iPhones I remember buying this app way back in the day.  It was a great way to experience your music.  It still feels just as special as the day I got it.  A couple of the puzzles have tap targets just off the screen, but id rather have it in this slightly flawed state than not at all.  So many apps like this have been lost to time.  Thank you for sticking around. :) and have a great day.
