Regardless of what you do, your fortress will get overrun just as you are beginning to build up significant power, and you will have to basically start over at about 20% of where you were. I chose not to connect with other players. I tried being near my alliance group and being distant from them. I still got crushed periodically. Of course, I was not paying, so I was having to wait for days to strengthen fortifications. Got plenty of laughs at all the serious “messages” the alliance leaders were supposedly sending out, and I was puzzled by the warnings about enemies on other servers. Don’t waste your time or money on this game— it that any others sound any better. I guess it takes a certain type of person to enjoy these games. I think there are many better things to do with your time. ### 1/5 — Worst mistake to play *2026-08-18, version 1.0.358* To be clear, I played for a solid two years. Spent what I would consider an obscene amount on a game and just as much time. So this comes from a thorough understanding of the mechanics and meta of the game. In the beginning it’s super fun and addicting. You even think that you can keep up with the whales if you grind. You can’t. But by the time you figure it out, you’re in deep. The pressure to buy is everywhere in everything, the free to play players get systematically eliminated and you are left with the pressure to spend to keep up and keep your friends. But in reality, none of you matter. No strategy matters, no game play mechanic can touch that of a whale. An entire server is ruled by 1-2 of these massive whales and you are not a threat, but must ‘manage up’ to get things done. Ok, so you’ve decided to do that and it’s working! You’re in the limelight of a whale, you can relax! Ooooh no, turns out that it’s just a game of whales and the ones from other servers will just nonchalantly take everything. You can watch the whales battle or you want, but it’s just watching them spend money until one gets bored. That’s it, that’s the game. I regret it. I fell for it. I turned off in game purchasing to have it promote their direct purchasing on their website. I spent, but never got close to anything resembling a force to be reckoned with, despite hours a day grinding. Run. Do not download. Unfortunately this game is designed to support whales only. You can technically play without paying, but you will immediately fall far behind, and catching up is impossible. We were told they’re working to avoid this issue by removing some of the purchasable pack options. But the only packs they’ve removed (or severely limited) are the inexpensive/affordable ones, leaving only things that the average person cannot afford to keep up with. So unless you plan on frequently spending literal hundreds or even thousands of dollars, you can expect to fall (and stay) behind. ### 1/5 — Chat bans for using english words *2026-08-17, version 1.0.358* This game was very fun for over a year and a half and now the chat bans are ridiculous due to the AI the developers are using to determine whether a word or statement violates their policies. The word “pickle” is a vegetable and not a derogatory word, the statements made pertain to licking or eating a pickle doesn’t refer to anything sexually or pornographic. When you ask their customer service for the clarification, the chatbot simply gives you the statement and says you are banned for X period. For someone that has spent quite a bit of real money on this game, this response is unacceptable. If the developers want to ban Americans for using words within the English language that are not derogatory then why should Americans continue to pay and play this game. Fix your Temu AI! ### 1/5 — Do not download it *2026-08-17, version 1.0.358* They make billions out of people, game glitches and I asked from both my accounts help they did not. They are extremely greedy hundreds of ways to spend money and very very expensive. They smash a percentage 2000+ percentage discount but the prices will be 29.99 or 99.99 for some resources. By mistake I needed to transfer my account to my email and they said “ sorry we sincerely apologize but there is 90 days cool down” WHAT?! You can’t bypass that as developer to make the players experience better ? I know people that live their checks in this game . It requires you to be on the game all day for free tasks, because other than that pay to become stronger and be same level as your team. I have reporter players for the use of bots, cheats, account sharing or trading, harassment and serious real life threats, with supporting evidence. The game actively encourages players to connect through Discord, yet when harassment moves beyond the game agent, support is unwilling to intervene. I have received threats claiming knowledge of my home address and that I would be “tortured until I quit the game”. Despite reporting - there has been little meaningful enforcement, including against major spenders. Spending heavily should never appear to protect players from consequences. ### 1/5 — Last war is dying *2026-08-23, version 1.0.359* This game is a classic bait and switch. The ads shown to get people to download it are NOT what the game is about. Years of predatory practice has made them 3.5 BILLION dollars. In the past they would allow a person to spend $25,000 per event (glitter market) and have now removed anything that allows a person to progress. They had to adjust pricing in multiple countries where they were overcharging players. Today’s update removes all hero and exclusive weapon packs so growth will literally stop. You will never be able to play against anyone stronger than you. Yet they put whales against guppies. Stay away from this game. Just let it die already. ### 1/5 — A game designed to consume your time and money *2026-08-23, version 1.0.359* In my opinion, this game offers very little real entertainment. It has no impressive graphics, no compelling story, and very little meaningful gameplay. Instead, much of the experience seems designed around exploiting addictive psychological mechanisms to keep players spending more time and money. Guilds, rankings, constant competition, upgrades, and purchasable power all create pressure to keep playing and paying just to make the numbers go up. Rather than creating a genuinely engaging game, it repeatedly targets basic human weaknesses—the desire to compete, keep up with others, and avoid falling behind. After spending a lot of time with it, I came to feel that the game was not rewarding me for my time; it was simply finding increasingly effective ways to take more of it, along with my money. I had a bug happen to my account where my two seperate shields bugged out and everyone attacked my base multiple times. Causing me to lose my much needed resources i worked hard to get. I created a customer service ticket, and they asked me for screenshots. I provided them with my proof and they just deleted my concerns (even with proof) and they didnt even bother to tell me why they didnt respond back. Safe to say that you as a customer dont matter! All they want is their money! Unless you’re spending $500 a day on this game, you’re just going to be farming repeatedly and getting defeated by people who buy out the store every day. In fact, I don’t doubt it if every server had developers in it to convince people there’s some kind of competitive nature to this game, there isn’t. I find it hard to believe that anyone would spend these ridiculous amounts of money just to get a false sense of accomplishment. It’s entirely pay to win, every week the entire server gets demolished by the top 10 players. I can’t even get shards for the hero’s that I paid for. It’s a slow burn until you realize how pointless it is to even try to keep up, we got guys who’s power level is 4-5 times higher than mine and I must’ve spend around $500 already. I still don’t have a base skin. I still don’t know HOW to get a base skin without spending $400 immediately. Winning the arms race gives you one shard. I’m level 28 on my server and I’m so far behind that’s it’s pointless for me to even keep playing. You can’t even rally against the strongest players and I’m only half way into season 1. Frontline breakthrough is fun for a while and then it becomes a pain, the difficulty of it is near impossible on mobile, you need a PC to beat it, it becomesb more stressful than fun.
