Going based off the Apple UI vs. their original internal UI was a huge downgrade. Functionality wise, the app has only gotten worse since I started using it. Presently, I can’t even load my streamed artists of the past month or year without complete restarts of the app frequently. I loved seeing my “all-time” report and it made me aware of which artists, albums, and songs are my favorites. After this most recent update none of that information appears. When I tap to see what I’ve been listening to, even for the past seven days, it just has a blank black screen. This is extremely annoying and frustrating because I put all this effort into tracking my listening habits and all that data is inaccessible. Makes me feel like I wasted a ton of time for nothing. And on the browser version it prompts me to upgrade to a “Pro” account to access the information that was free before. I don’t trust this app enough to pay $5 a month just to have it not work. Spotify now provides some listening data, but it’s very limited.
