Getting there is another story. Each and every time attempting to open the app it require two-factor authentication. A little slow, but not a massive big deal. Unfortunately, in my home country and abroad, the SMS nor what’s app authentication codes get delivered (well once every three or four times). Email usually works. If I need to go back to select another method, I cannot login again and have to close the app. After re-entering my password the app stalls and won’t take me to the two factor authentication choices. Eventually it will sometimes work, sometimes not. Since LATAM partners with Delta, the app indicated the International Terminal (Tom Bradley), but the flight was actually departing from Terminal 3 at Delta. Then, when I arrived in Brazil for my connecting flight, the app did not show any gate information. I struggled to even find a departure monitor displaying my flight. The lounge staff directed me to the wrong place, and after asking five different people for help, I finally found the correct gate—only to discover that the plane had already departed. For an international traveler in an unfamiliar airport, accurate terminal and gate information is essential. If the app cannot provide reliable information when passengers need it most, what is the purpose of having the app? This experience caused me to miss my flight and created an enormous amount of unnecessary stress. LATAM really needs to improve the accuracy and real-time reliability of its app. ### 1/5 — Broken app and website *2026-08-26* What is the point of having an app or even a website if you can’t do basic functions such as making seat selection? I’ve been trying to select the seats for my upcoming trip for the past 3 weeks now, and I just keep getting a message saying “We could not process this seat map”. I had to call them and staying on the call for 30 MINUTES to be able to select a seat.
