## What is Lately?

You know that feeling when you look at the clock and realize you should've left 10 minutes ago?
Yeah. Me too. That's why I built this.

Lately is a lateness app for people who are always running late. Whether it's time blindness, ADHD, or you just can't seem to get out the door, this actually works.

Here's what it does:
- Visual Timer on your lock screen, dynamic island, and watch so you always know when you need to leave
- Travel Time Estimation so you stop underestimating how long trips actually take
- Smart Travel Time that updates as you move and accounts for your travel method and traffic
- Multiple Alerts leading up to the leave time (because one reminder has never been enough)
- Alarm at leave time for when you've completely spaced out or in executive dysfunction paralysis
- Points and Badges for arriving on time (surprisingly motivating)
- Recurring Timers for your regular routines (don't have to set it up every time)

No destination? No problem. You'll still get a visual timer, notifications, and alarm — whether you need to leave, make a call, or start anything on time.

I made this because I was tired of feeling so guilty and stressed. If you're tired of being late, give it a shot.

### 5/5 — Great for time blindness

*2026-06-11*

Really helps me be on time for appointments!

### 5/5 — More aware, less stressed

*2026-02-16*

Great concept paired with solid execution + support. I tested for 1 week, ran into a couple issues with sync (because of my settings), and got quick, clear help & support from the app’s maker. Since then, I have had no issues, get all the benefits, and am running with the app daily. I despise spending $$ on apps for the most part, but I’m happy to purchase a lifetime license with Lately and support this dev. Brilliant!

### 5/5 — Paid for lifetime premium bc it’s WORTH IT

*2026-02-04*

If you’re the kind of person who DEEPLY wants to be on time, starts early, gets everything ready, and then gets sidetracked with a task or emergency at the last second and ends up embarrassingly late no matter how hard you try — please, please try Lately app. I’ve been using this app regularly since I discovered it a few months ago and it’s truly been lifechanging. I’m the kind of person who is often an HOUR — yes, 60+ MINUTES — late to everything — but not for lack of trying! I used to cry regularly in my car on the drive over out of frustration because I felt like I was trying EVERYTHING — alarms, visual timers, and even peer pressure by asking my bf to rush me. Lately’s progress bar, time left before leaving, and reminders to get ready combined SHOCKED me bc I realized I had to be out the door much sooner than anticipated. It also made me realize I have an intense time blindness problem lol. Now I’m approximately 20 minutes late everywhere I go, which is still not ideal — but it’s a 40 minute improvement and I’m very thankful to this app for making it happen for me! 2026 goal is to start being EARLY 😤❤️

### 3/5 — Current Glitch

*2026-01-11*

I use this app everyday and I have for a couple months now. Currently i’ve been having a glitch where i’m getting notifications for events I have that day but when I go into the app the event i’m getting notifications for is gone. Like the app hasn’t been showing me my events for the current day and I even checked to see if they’d be under “past” but they aren’t there either. So i’m getting leave time notifications for the event but can’t see it in the app on the day. Which has been frustrating and been over a week now. I’ve been checking every day for an app update and there hasn’t been one

### 5/5 — Finally, an App That Helps You Actually Be On Time

*2025-04-10*

If you have ADHD, struggle with time blindness, or just tend to run late, this app is a lifesaver. It doesn’t just remind you about appointments—it helps you prepare for them.

What makes it great:
	•	Smart, layered reminders
	•	Encouraging nudges to help you start moving
	•	A simple, non-overwhelming design

It’s like having a supportive friend keeping you on track. Whether you have ADHD or just hate being late, this app makes a real difference.

### 5/5 — Good for the fashionably late as well as those w ADHD!

*2025-04-10*

A well-needed app in this world of distractions. Arriving anywhere on time has never been more challenging. This app is simple and fun to use. It is well thought out, integrating with maps and considering mode of transportation. Maybe this will be the antidote to my habitual lateness. Fingers crossed and thank you!!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the awesome words! I’m so glad you’re finding the app simple and fun, and that the maps and transportation features are hitting the mark. Here’s hoping it’s the perfect fix for those late habits, fingers crossed too!
