## What is Latelyy?

Latelyy is your private life timeline.

It automatically turns your day into a clear, visual story so you can understand how you actually spend your time, how you feel, and what patterns shape your weeks.

From wake-up to wind-down, Latelyy passively detects moments like sleep, work, commuting, walking, outdoor time, exercise, and more, then organizes everything into a timeline that is easy to review and edit.

KEY FEATURES

• Automatic timeline tracking
Latelyy builds your day in the background using on-device signals, so you can capture your routine without constant manual logging.

• Daily and weekly clarity
See key stats like steps, focus time, outdoor minutes, transitions, and streaks to quickly understand how your day went.

• Mood check-ins with context
Log how you feel and compare mood with your activity patterns over time.

• Insights that surface real patterns
Latelyy highlights trends in movement, routine, sleep consistency, outdoor exposure, and screen-heavy evenings.

• Life Map
Visualize places you spend time, visits, and time spent at each location with a clean map view.

• Year in Review
See your annual story at a glance with activity totals, monthly trends, top patterns, and highlights.

• On-device and privacy-first
Your data stays on your device. Latelyy is built local-first and is designed to keep your personal patterns personal.

WHY LATELYY

Most tracking tools focus on isolated metrics. Latelyy connects the dots across your day, your mood, and your movement, so you can reflect better, build healthier routines, and make small changes that stick.

Whether you want better balance, more intentional days, or simply a clearer memory of your weeks, Latelyy helps you see your life as it happens.

### 1.6 — 2026-05-18

What’s New

There a brand new app icon!:
Latelyy has a new icon. It represents your day becoming a simple personal timeline.
The new icon is also built for Apple’s Liquid Glass icon system.
---
Apple Watch app

Latelyy now has a companion Apple Watch app. You can quickly see your current activity, today’s steps, walking minutes, sleep, streak, and total tracked days right from your wrist.
---
Home Screen widgets

Added Home Screen widgets for quick daily insights:

* Today Summary: see your steps, walking time, and current activity.
* Tracked Days / Streak: check your timeline progress at a glance.
* Weekly Overview: get a simple look at your recent activity.
* Recent Activity: preview your latest timeline entries in a privacy-safe way.

More notification options:
Added more notification options for timeline progress, permissions, iCloud sync, insights, unnamed places, and backup reminders.
The Notifications settings screen has also been reorganized into cleaner grouped sections.

Better midnight handling
Latelyy now handles Timeline entries that continue past midnight more reliably, so activities carry over into the next day more cleanly.

---------------

What’s Fixed

* Fixed an issue where the Timeline could incorrectly show that Motion access was missing.
* Fixed tracked days sometimes showing the wrong count.
* Fixed a mismatch where the Timeline header and insight card could show different tracked-day numbers.
* Fixed ongoing Timeline entries crossing midnight so they are split and reconciled more reliably when a new day begins.
* Fixed a premature iCloud sync notification for new users.
* Fixed the Location permission row so it now shows the real state, like Always or While Using.
* Fixed duration pills on grouped activity cards. Cards that combine multiple nearby segments now show the full elapsed time span, including gaps, so the pill matches the time range in the card header.
* Improved daily work-time accuracy. The work-time stat now uses your labeled work place to determine focus time, with manual entries as a fallback.
* Improved iCloud sync status messages in Settings so it is clearer when sync is in progress, completed, waiting, or needs attention.
* Improved stability around insight generation and activity tracking edge cases.
