## What is Latent?

Latent turns your voice into organized knowledge - offline, privately, on your device.

Record meetings, lectures, interviews, brainstorms, and voice notes. Latent transcribes your audio offline, creates useful summaries, and keeps your recordings searchable without sending your voice to the cloud.

One purchase. Yours forever. No subscriptions, no ads, no tracking.

WHY LATENT
- Offline by design: record and transcribe without an internet connection
- Private by design: recordings, transcripts, and summaries stay on your device
- One-time purchase: pay once, use forever
- Built for voice notes, meetings, lectures, interviews, and ideas
- Clean summaries and smart titles for supported devices
- Local fallback summaries when Apple Intelligence is unavailable
- Import audio and video from other apps
- Export transcripts and keep ownership of your notes

TRANSCRIPTION
Latent uses offline, on-device speech recognition powered by WhisperKit, optimized for Apple Silicon.

- Transcribe recordings offline
- Auto-detect language
- Handle long recordings
- Review transcripts alongside the original audio
- Import audio files or extract audio from videos

AI SUMMARIES
Latent turns transcripts into useful summaries, titles, and action items.

On devices that support Apple Intelligence, summaries are generated with Apple's on-device Foundation Models. On unsupported devices, Latent uses a local fallback so your recording content still stays on your device.

PRIVACY
Your voice is personal. Latent is built so your recordings, transcripts, summaries, and metadata remain on your device.

No cloud uploads.
No accounts.
No tracking.
No ads.

HONEST PRICING
Most transcription apps charge monthly subscriptions. Latent is different: pay once, use it forever.
