It used to be so easy to use. Click your social media profile, hold down on the calendar for when you want the post to go out, add your post, done. There it is on your calendar. You could then either copy that post with the date and time over to your other pages if needed, or tap over to the next profile at the top to do it manually. Now it’s way more complicated, because if you click the next social media page you have to go back through and untick all the others otherwise your calendars all start to merge together for some reason which makes things quite confusing. Can’t just click between them now to see the separate calendars. Copying posts over doesn’t seem to work fully anymore because you still have to then go through manually add the dates and times for each post even if you made the original post by holding down on the calendar, so this ends up taking so much longer. Even for the original post, holding down on the calendar seems like a pointless feature now because you still have to go in and add the date and time. Don’t want to switch to another app because this one has always been so easy and reliable. So this isn’t a complaint as such, it’s usually perfect. Just some constructive criticism so hopefully helps. Thank you ### 2/5 — Too many thing go wrong *2026-03-21* Needs an update. ### 3/5 — Glitch with selecting cover photo *2026-01-18, version 9.6* There is a glitch when selecting a cover photo it just says remove media and try again and then after you remove it and then add it back and then select cover photo it’ll act like it’s allowing you to select a cover photo but then it goes straight back to your media section and then you have to start the whole entire post over again ### 1/5 — So many problems *2026-01-07, version 9.6* I am so done with this app. I’ve emailed them no less than 5 times over the months to fix my “best time to post” feature because I’m a paid subscriber and it wasn’t working. The latest time is on 12/2 when Support responded and told me that the feature is no longer available on iOS and only on Desktop. I checked on desktop and the feature gave me no best time to post today, and the following day times were between 1 am and 2 am. Beyond this, Later doesn’t keep up with IG updates - for example it still says you can’t upload more than 10 photos at a time. Beyond this, you can’t preview a post like a normal Instagram post, you have to click on each individual photo and go down the line. I’m not sure the point of this app, it’s a lot of play pretend. I canceled my subscription today. ### 1/5 — Can’t Schedule Reel On Mobile *2025-12-24, version 9.6* Uploaded vertical reel for FB, IG, TK, and TY. When using the the media, it will just tell me “Operation Couldn’t Be Completed (56 error 911) ### 1/5 — Worst platform we’ve ever used. *2025-12-08, version 9.6* Riddle with UI problems and horrible business practices. Takes forever to upload content, doesn’t allow you to upload cover photo, takes over 30 min to plan a post. It is glitchy, and their customer service team should be ashamed of themselves. I notified them right away that I needed to cancel my subscription & they still charged me anyways. The Later app is poor quality. every time I uploaded photos or videos through it, they became pixelated and low-resolution once posted to my social media. I canceled my subscription on the same day it was set to renew, and they still charged me, refusing to issue a refund. Super disappointing and unprofessional. Do not recommend ### 1/5 — Later Doesn’t Save Time & Support is Rigid *2025-10-02* I signed up for Later’s free trial and unfortunately missed the cancellation window, so I was charged for a year. I owned that mistake and made a real effort to use the platform, but it simply doesn’t deliver on its promise. The Instagram thumbnail/cover feature doesn’t work reliably, posts often freeze or fail, and the scheduling tools are clunky. Instead of saving time, I ended up spending as much (or more) time fixing issues directly in the platforms. When I reached out to customer support, they flatly refused to offer even a prorated refund or credit. They cited policy, ignored the fact that the product isn’t functional, and then—most audaciously—asked me to help them troubleshoot their own broken platform. Bottom line: the platform is unintuitive, the features unreliable, and the support team unhelpful. Be very cautious before committing to an annual plan. ### 2/5 — Precisa melhorar *2025-09-22* Está em inglês não tem opção de colocar em português ### 1/5 — took away X/Twitter (and still charged us full price for year) *2025-08-11* Later took away X/Twitter scheduling, analytics, etc. In August 2025…even though they had already charged us for a full year, including X/Twitter. We reached out to them numerous times regarding how they would be refunding./ crediting us since they had taken our money for a service they had promised but then stopped providing. Although we followed up and repeated attempts to reach Later multiple times, no one from Later ever responded, nor have they returned or credited any of our money, even though they are not holding up their end of the promised services. This, along with consistently horrible support from Later, has us actively looking for another provider and definitely encouraging colleagues to avoid Later. ### 2/5 — Its ok but not professional enough *2025-08-09, version 9.6* It’s fine for casual use, but not ideal for professional work. I run two fashion brands, and the pixel/size limits are frustrating. You only tell me a video is “too wide” right before posting, after I’ve set captions and links, instead of when uploading. This means re-uploading and lowering quality, even though other platforms accept the file as-is. When I post to Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok together, it uploads everywhere except TikTok, which often gives an error. Also, you have to rewrite captions separately for each platform instead of typing it once and customizing, this wastes time and defeats again the purpose of streamlined posting. Selecting the cover of the video is also not accurate/bugging. ### 1/5 — Works ok, shady recurring subscription *2025-08-07, version 9.6* Works ok for IG planning but never quite worked fully without some headache. Tried on and off for 5 years to see if it improved. Free trial only includes 1 social set and I was able to connect tiktok, but I don’t want to pay $50 for the ability to include 3 social media platforms when it wouldn’t connect to any of the ones I use. Maybe after paying it will start working. ### 1/5 — They make it very difficult to cancel *2026-06-03* They make it very difficult to cancel and the chat bot was telling me to select things that didn’t exist. Misleading and a really poor way to get customers to stay. ### 1/5 — Abusive and dishonest *2026-05-30* This app is dishonest — be very careful with your account information and payments. Our company cancelled its annual subscription last year and requested a refund or some other form of compensation, as we hadn’t used Later for a long time. However, the refund was denied because the payment had already been processed. We can understand that, even if it wasn't very businesslike. But this year, they charged us again for a one-year subscription! Over $400! It's abusive, dishonest and intolerable. You need to know this. ### 1/5 — Do not sign up to this! *2026-05-27* They will lock you into a subscription with no way to cancel if you’re on mobile or iPad, the only way to change your subscription is to use desktop, but if you travel like myself you have no way to cancel. The customer service is awful and they give no prior warning to subscription renewals. Avoid at all costs, there is plenty better schedulers out there. ### 1/5 — I keep getting error codes *2026-04-13, version 9.7* Expensive! Remember to unsubscribe or else you get hit with a hefty bill and difficult to cancel. My Instagram feed will not load I keep having to log in and refresh and get errors codes. I wanted more complex scheduling features. Well I found some SMM platforms that were wayyy too complex, so I eventually came back to check out Later and somehow it’s exactly what I want and need. Simple yet packed with the features you need as an influencer or brand to grow an account and do the most important thing for your consistency, schedule your posts!
