### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-20

Added
- Sync Details in Settings now shows your Episode Watches count.
- Music now has its own place in Library Stats, showing your songs, albums and artists.

Fixed
- The Recs Sent number in Library Stats only counted recommendations you sent from the device you were holding, so it reported low for anyone who has reinstalled or changed phones.
- The avatar you earn by sending recommendations could stay locked long after you had earned it.
- Episodes marked watched on the web could never appear on your phone if you hadn't opened that show's episode list on the device.
- Signing up and importing a library in the same session could leave account sync half set up until the next app start; it now finishes right away.
- Reinstalling the app could lose watched-episode history for a show whose episode numbering had changed
- Plenty of bug fixes and polish across the app.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-14

Added
- A new sync service to ensure your library is up to date on any device or platform.
- You can now add a newly released TV Show season to your queue.
- Tagging a friend as a recommender to something you have already finished now asks whether to let them know you've finished it.

Changed
- Sync Details in Settings now shows when the app last checked for changes made elsewhere, using the new sync service.
- Several recommendations from the same friend at once only showed up as one, now they come in grouped.

Fixed
- A film you watched on release day could quietly go back to Backlog, and marking it watched again wouldn't stick.
- An imported item that failed to save to your account could quietly disappear from your library later on.
- A friend finishing something you recommended could show up twice in your notifications.
- Reinstalling the app, or using it on a second device, could tell a friend a second time about something you had already finished.
- The recommended by box could keep showing users as 'pending', long after they had been notified.
- Songs you rated or finished in Spin Through were only saved on the device, so they could go missing after a reinstall. They now save to your account like everything else.
- A username with accented letters looked available, then failed at the last step of signing up. The screen now tells you what's wrong as you type.
- In Library Stats, tapping a media type under By Type just opened Library Stats again instead of that type's breakdown. The Fun Facts cards had the same problem and now open the item.
- Plenty of bug fixes and polish across the app.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-10

Added
- A new Queue screen: an easy way to manage your library and stay on top of what to do next. Long press anything in your library to add it to the queue or take it out.
- Can't find an item in your library? Add it quickly from the 'no results' screen.
- A show that comes back for a new season now says New Season, instead of looking like you stopped watching it halfway.
- Friend Activity now includes season they (and you!) finish. Finishing the last season of an airing TV show correctly fires off an activity for it.
- You now get notified when a show you've caught up on back with a new season.
- You can now reorder items in a List into whatever order you want, from the new Edit Order screen.

Fixed
- List covers went missing and showed as empty slots you could not fill. Your old covers work again, and you can set new ones.
- Resolved an issue where the 'Pro' badge wasn't showing for some accounts.
- Tapping a book in a series now works anywhere on the row, not just on the title or the arrow.
- A book's series tag no longer promises more books than the series actually lists.
- Plenty of bug fixes and polish across the app.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-07-30

LaterRex has moved off iCloud onto its own sync service. Your library, friends and activity now live on your LaterRex account, so changes save straight away, notifications are more reliable, and everything comes back if you reinstall.

New:
- Your library now lives on your LaterRex account instead of iCloud.
- Your activity feed includes people you follow, not just mutual friends.

Fixed:
- Goodreads imports now keep your read dates and star ratings, instead of dating every book to the day you imported and dropping the ratings. Already imported? Run it again and the app fills in what was missing
- Rating something marked DNF no longer flips it back to Finished, and rating something unfinished no longer loses the private rating
- Signing in on a second device no longer asks you to pick a username when you already have an account
- In-app notifications that appear while a window is open are no longer hidden behind it
- Search is faster and no longer looks blank while results load.
- New titles show their poster on the Coming Soon widget right away, instead of a blank square until you reopened the app
- Plenty of bug fixes and polish across the app

- Your chosen avatar no longer resets to the default after restarting the app
- Music albums added from a recommendation now load their full details instead of showing up empty sometimes
- Spin Through no longer alerts a friend the moment you rate the first song; it waits until you finish the album
- Marking episodes watched is easier: the checkmark was a bit too hard to press, it's now more responsive
- The reviews screen now matches the app's card style
