Fixed - A movie that had already come out could still show as unreleased, and marking it watched would not save. - Widgets could keep showing old information if you left the app at the wrong moment. - The friend button on someone's profile now updates while you are looking at it, instead of waiting until you leave and come back. Tapping it no longer sends a second request to someone who has just sent you one. - Adding a friend or following someone could flip back visually, despite the request being sent. - The Add Friend and Follow buttons did nothing for the first few seconds after opening the app. - Some music could be filed as the wrong kind, so a song showed album screens and never corrected itself. - The recommendations you had credited to someone could quietly disappear, either when you linked them to their LaterRex account or a contact, or when the app tidied up duplicate people in the background. - Fixed a bug where updating the app could permanently remove items from your library, if your previous version had never finished loading it from iCloud. - The Recommended by filter in your library listed everyone you are friends with, not just the people who have actually recommended you something. ### 1.2.4 — 2026-08-28 - TV Watch Time was stuck at zero. It now counts properly, and your Total Media Time includes it. - Once you had pinned a stat to your profile there was no way to remove it. You can now clear them. - Account deletion could get stuck if iCloud was signed out. ### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-25 Added - A lot of what you save comes from a reel or a subreddit rather than a person, so you can now credit Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, Facebook and Pinterest for a recommendation, alongside podcasts, newsletters and anything else you name. - Share an item and the link now opens a real page for it, with the artwork, the description, ratings and cast, so whoever you send it to can see what you mean without an account or the app. Fixed - Fixed signing up failing with an iCloud error for some new users. - Accounts with music in their library could get permanently stuck on backing up their library. ### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-20 Added - Sync Details in Settings now shows your Episode Watches count. - Music now has its own place in Library Stats, showing your songs, albums and artists. Fixed - The Recs Sent number in Library Stats only counted recommendations you sent from the device you were holding, so it reported low for anyone who has reinstalled or changed phones. - The avatar you earn by sending recommendations could stay locked long after you had earned it. - Episodes marked watched on the web could never appear on your phone if you hadn't opened that show's episode list on the device. - Signing up and importing a library in the same session could leave account sync half set up until the next app start; it now finishes right away. - Reinstalling the app could lose watched-episode history for a show whose episode numbering had changed - Plenty of bug fixes and polish across the app. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-14 Added - A new sync service to ensure your library is up to date on any device or platform. - You can now add a newly released TV Show season to your queue. - Tagging a friend as a recommender to something you have already finished now asks whether to let them know you've finished it. Changed - Sync Details in Settings now shows when the app last checked for changes made elsewhere, using the new sync service. - Several recommendations from the same friend at once only showed up as one, now they come in grouped. Fixed - A film you watched on release day could quietly go back to Backlog, and marking it watched again wouldn't stick. - An imported item that failed to save to your account could quietly disappear from your library later on. - A friend finishing something you recommended could show up twice in your notifications. - Reinstalling the app, or using it on a second device, could tell a friend a second time about something you had already finished. - The recommended by box could keep showing users as 'pending', long after they had been notified. - Songs you rated or finished in Spin Through were only saved on the device, so they could go missing after a reinstall. They now save to your account like everything else. - A username with accented letters looked available, then failed at the last step of signing up. The screen now tells you what's wrong as you type. - In Library Stats, tapping a media type under By Type just opened Library Stats again instead of that type's breakdown.
