For verbs, a proper Latin dictionary will show the 4 parts of the verb to indicate the proper declension, etc. For nouns, the nominative and genitive to show the declension, etc. The meaning of any Latin sentence is based upon Latin grammar and the proper conjugation of verbs and the declension of nouns. This app gives none of those. For anyone leaning Latin or the experienced Latinist, this app is not for you. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-05-11, version 4.2* Doesn’t show any results whatsoever. Only displays ads to download other apps. If it changed with the brightness or made the font not blend in with the background, it would be an easy 5 star. Unfortunately, that is not the case. To use it, you need to change your phone appearance to light every time you want to use it, which is quite inconvenient. For translating though, it works well. 5 stars for that. - 1 star for poor design. ### 4/5 — Lovely until iOS 13 *2019-09-20, version 1.0* Was working perfectly until i upgraded to iOS 13. Now it does weird things with the flags they grow large and cover up the words you are searching for. The audio only works for the English word which is ridiculous because it's a Latin dictionary. Words like "think" are not in there while "thinkable" is. I even came across the latin translation for the English word "broadband". Which apparently is "broadband".
