### 2/5 — Looks good but…

*2026-07-13*

An app, for a music festival, has one main function, IMHO, and that is to allow you to make sense of the multiple draws on your attention and allow you to create your own agenda. It appears this has been thought of but not executed. Or, at the very least, doesn’t make it immediately obvious how to utilise the app to execute this function. Needs immediate improvement

### 2/5 — Could be better

*2025-07-24, version 25.0.1*

App notifications take you to the home page, not inbox. No option to preview artists music via Spotify. Feels basic but does the job.
The rate the app button on profile page disappears when clicking on it. No option to select which types of notifications you want to receive, ie just for the artists you want to see or every notification possible

### 2/5 — Tickets not working

*2025-07-23*

Had an email from Ticketmaster saying we have to have tickets on the app. Sadly the ticket option doesn’t work at the moment. Says you have to update the app, but no update?!

### 2/5 — schedule

*2025-07-17, version 25.0.1*

schedule is still not showing

### 3/5 — Good but definitely needs more.

*2025-07-14, version 25.0.1*

i think this app is god but it NEEDS A MAP!

### 3/5 — More lists please

*2025-06-28, version 25.0.1*

Decent festival app - would love the ability to create multiple priority lists- ‘must see’, ‘like to see’, ‘curious’ - or simple priority 1/2/3

### 2/5 — Poor functionality

*2025-06-14, version 25.0.1*

Notifications show in the app but are not clickable so you can’t act on them…

### 2/5 — Tickets failure

*2025-06-12, version 25.0.1*

My Tickets won’t open… not good, not good at all…

### 2/5 — Needs rethink!

*2024-07-22, version 12.0.3*

Well safe to say no one has tested this app who’s colour blind!!! Can’t even pick up the icon tio add to the schedule….but it looks pretty!? Can’t change to dark mode or increase the text size so disappointing

### 1/5 — How do you login?

*2024-07-15*

Let’s you register, which I have done. It’s then logged me out and there is no option to log back in? I’ve gone through the register steps again to login, but it throws an error message, presumably because I’m using details that are already registered.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-07-15, version 12.0.3*

This app has been really good previously and this year it doesn’t seem to work at all. I have tried to delete and re add it and it is just glitching. No schedule and doesn’t hold the data

### 2/5 — Really annoying bug

*2024-07-15*

The schedule feature keeps disappearing. When you first download the app you’re able to review acts and select them to add to your schedule. As soon as you come out the app and go back in that feature disappears. Have had to delete the app 3 times now and reinstall and each time the schedule is there when first install but as soon as you click out of the app it goes. Surely will have to be fixed before the festival otherwise the app is pointless.

### 2/5 — No schedule?

*2024-07-13, version 12.0.3*

Two weeks out from the festival and still no schedule. Come on Festival Republic pull your socks up!!

### 1/5 — Good info but scheduling doesn’t work

*2024-07-13, version 12.0.3*

Good info about the festival and acts but to be useful the scheduling needs to be sorted out. This is the only useful feature of the app, the rest of the info you can get elsewhere.
Not intuitive and different bits of info dont link up eg favourite artists

### 1/5 — Latest update has lost schedule

*2024-07-12, version 12.0.3*

Yesterday I had the framework for a schedule even if it was incomplete. Updated today following an email saying new app had launched and the schedule has disappeared. Poor.

### 2/5 — Sub par

*2024-07-12, version 12.0.3*

Missing a site map and schedule planner, or I can’t find them. Not much use without them.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t let me see my tickets

*2025-07-25, version 25.0.1*

Not too bad for the map but it would have been more helpful if it would display my tickets…

### 1/5 — Way too noisy

*2025-07-24, version 25.0.1*

Too many notifications. No way to turn them off.

### 1/5 — Basically useless

*2025-07-23, version 25.0.1*

The map is appalling. Incomplete. Poor definition and difficult to navigate. Links are empty or take you to useless web pages. There is NO SEARCH BAR! Merch is “coming soon” and the festival starts tomorrow. No actual advice for first timers. Very poor

### 1/5 — Tickets unavailable

*2025-07-23, version 25.0.1*

Downloaded the app, clicked My Tickets, told ticket function unavailable and to update the app. I just downloaded the app! I have the most updated version.
If you’re going fully digital, you need to ensure the app works. This is shocking.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2025-07-13*

I am getting so frustrated that when I get notifications on the app about things to book or news linked to the festival, I trying clicking the arrow to the right of the headline or the headline and nothing happens.

What’s the point of an app where you can’t get all the information.

### 1/5 — My Tickets not working

*2025-06-26, version 25.0.1*

Says I need to update the app but it’s already updated. Why make this so complicated?

### 1/5 — No tickets

*2025-06-12, version 25.0.1*

My ticket function not working.

### 1/5 — Appalling. The schedule comes and goes.

*2024-07-22*

Completely useless without the schedule. Oh and - if you re-install the app you can’t log back in. It just asks you to re register. The schedule comes and goes. It wouldn’t be so bad if we know when it will finally arrive and stay. I spent a while adding a few things to “My Schedule” but I now fear it’ll be a waste of time because they’ll just vanish and I’ll have to start again. At the moment it’s just easier to add things to my phone calendar- of course, they don’t stay synced but even that’s better than what this app offers at the moment. In fact a Google calendar for each stage that we could just subscribe to wound do the job better! How about keeping us informed about what’s going on with the app?

### 1/5 — Schedule problems

*2024-07-21*

I had just started a schedule as a few acts timings had been confirmed, but since the last update the schedule function has disappeared. Not long to fix it otherwise its not going to be much use during the festival…

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2024-07-19, version 12.0.3*

I really hope there is an app update soon. We are less than a week out and there is no full line up with timeline feature in the app yet so I can’t plan my lineup.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect festival guide

*2025-07-28*

I really like the scheduling feature- I was just a bit too ambitious to see it all though!

### 5/5 — I don’t know why it has such a bad rating

*2024-07-25*

It’s a really useful app

### 5/5 — This is everything you want from a festival app

*2018-07-13*

Get this app. No more having to pay £10 for a piece of paper than hangs around your neck. No more having to tell strangers what times acts are playing because they’ve seen your schedule around your neck and they’re clever enough not to spend £10. You can just happily browse acts on your phone. You know... until signal goes and your phone runs out of battery.

### 5/5 — App is a life saver

*2018-04-05*

I love this app so much, giving me the times of performances and reminders as to where and when they are!!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic addition to festival experience

*2015-07-20, version 5.0.0*

Downloaded the app just two days before the festival. Lets you favourite each artist you want to watch & then builds you a personal timetable. As well as this the schedule function let you check what was on each stage with a handy timeline so you knew exactly what was happening. I was willing to pay for a programme as they are really well produced but this app was just so convenient and useful we felt we really got the most out of the festival.

### 5/5 — Finally a festival app that gets it right!

*2015-07-19, version 5.0.0*

Used this app all weekend, it was great, after using the favourite stars on the artists it was really easy to track who was on and when and any clashes and all without having to make an account or sign in to FB. When not using the stars the schedule and timetable was really helpful. Love the idea of using the notifications to alert you as to when artists are about to perform. My only criticisms were that you couldn't click on the artist through the timetable and that the icons on the map were badly placed so you couldn't see the stage numbers, a toggle on and off for those would have helped.
Great stuff guys, this is as far as I'm concerned the new standard by which festival apps should be set by!

### 4/5 — No map to download

*2026-07-23*

Unless you’re there you can’t use the map. There doesn’t appear to be on you can access- or if there is they have hidden it really well.

### 4/5 — Seeing friends favourites lists.

*2018-06-03*

Great app however it would be even better if you could see Friends whole lists for inspiration. This review was made before timetable made available so can’t comment on that.

### 4/5 — So much better than the 1lb book

*2015-07-19, version 5.0.0*

Finally an app to replace the printed programme. Not sure why the app is free when the book is £10. I would have paid for the app, though not £10! Just think of the paper it would save.

Great to have all the listings on my phone for ALL the stages. Particularly like being able to click through for artist details. And the schedule in landscape mode like the pull out pages at the back of the book. Only criticism is that 'Locate' tries to take you to an online Google (?) map rather than the built in Latitude site map. The Google map is useless as it has no detail AND needs data connection, which I didn't have on site.
How about an iPad version next year, and publicity in advance so we know to download it before arriving when we still have data.
Thank you for making this app.

### 3/5 — Clunky and device specific only

*2026-07-20*

They really need to join in with the 2020’s ……. There is no ‘account’ which means your favourites and schedule are only device specific …… no sharing with others or with another device. It’s buggy as well and not terribly intuitive.

Lots of good information on there, but it feels really out of date ….

And the ‘my tickets’ thing which then just links to your Ticketmaster account is utterly pointless.

Come on guys, spend some money and get the app to match the slick and superb festival experience !!
