### 1/5 — Ugh

*2026-02-15*

Ugh the formatting is off from the sign up - cant even create an account - please fix - love the idea - just execute the plan!

### 1/5 — Couldn’t read

*2026-02-01*

I deleted it after download. On the iPad I couldn’t even read the set up questions they were all cut off on the screen. Not worth my time

### 2/5 — It needs some tweaks

So first, it has potential for sure. I like that it has a journal section, I like that you can chose to use to do the lesson without AI. I like that you can edit the lesson after AI generated its content.

But there are some things that make me uncomfortable. I don’t love the chat with AI Joseph Smith or prophets for example. That feels much too much like we are replacing the actual people here with AI.

Another thing is that while I appreciate the work that has been done to get AI to accurately quote scripture and prophets, because it does do better than getting a quote or scripture from something like ChatGPT, it comes up with some legit quotes and scriptures, but it also still comes up with things that they didn’t actually say. For example (and feel free to point me to the talk if I’m incorrect) the lesson generator said that Jeffery R Holland said, “In the gospel of Jesus Christ, you have help from both sides of the veil.” Is it incorrect, no. Did he teach this concept? Yes... But did he use those exact words…. Not that I can find. Now, I looked up several & this is just one example. It’s hit & miss going between actual quotes and quotes the AI makes up.

I also wish that after pushing the manual make a lesson button, it wouldn’t ask you again if you’d like to generate using AI. It’s redundant.

I also wish that there were more options for putting things in for a lesson… like what is the purpose for this lesson, what quotes will we use, what activities are we going to do, what parts of the talk are we going to bring attention to. And link to those quotes and scriptures or videos and pictures. Stuff like that. As it is… I could just use a notepad for what it’s able to do currently.

And lastly, the AI generator fails generating often.

So my final thoughts are, be careful using AI. I think it could be useful as a tool but it’s important to keep it in that place - as a tool and not a replacement for your own thoughts, feelings, and spiritual promptings. And be extra sure when quoting scripture or quotes from prophets, apostles, whoever really, to double triple check the sources and make sure they actually said it.

### 3/5 — No free option

*2025-10-18*

Someone had posted about this on Facebook (I believe stating it was free) so I downloaded it and created an account. I was impressed with the account creation portion of the app…. But then I got to the page where I couldn’t continue without paying. I didn’t see a place to exit out or do a free trial run of the app, so that’s where my “journey” with this app ended. I did think it was weird that the AI is called “Joseph Smith AI”…. Like it’s trying to replace or impersonate the prophet. Can it be called something else? Anyway, I was excited to give it a shot but don’t know enough about it to want to invest money into it to figure it out.
