### 2/5 — Missing most features found in web

*2024-09-30, version 2.12.0*

You can only do very basic things in this app - post your update, take 1:1 notes, and your or your report’s goals. And that’s pretty much it, not useful for managing a team at all.

### 3/5 — It works okay

*2024-09-16, version 2.12.0*

I can see and add agenda items to my 1:1s, which is nice, but it feels a bit bare bones.

The main problem is it logs me out. Once I’m logged into a mobile app, I just don’t want this to happen.

Then when you try to log back in it takes multiple attempts with SSO to make it stick.

Here’s hoping it’s as good as the website soon.

### 2/5 — Why even bother?

*2024-04-04, version 2.12.0*

Why even bother when the app is buggy, lacking most of the web app features, and is an all round poor user experience? You’d be better to not even offer a native app and make people use the web app via browser. I don’t get why you’d bother to half-bake an app like this. Very odd and makes me wonder what’s going on there internally.

### 1/5 — SSO doesn’t work.

*2023-10-19, version 2.11.0*

SSO handoff fails between mobile safari and the app. Mobile site works as expected. App is patently useless in this state.

### 1/5 — Great tool but the App is non functional

*2023-08-22, version 2.11.0*

Couldn’t login with SSO.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2023-07-18, version 2.11.0*

Disappointing - the app doesn’t even open

### 1/5 — Very buggy, no useful abilities that work

*2023-07-12, version 2.11.0*

Downloaded it. Limited use options within the overall platform, and those did not work. Much of the data in my 1v1 details did not show up and could not be clicked into.
Finally, when I went to click “send us feedback” to give bug heads up to the developers, the literal feedback button would not work no matter how many times you press it, close and re-open, restart, etc. Maybe that was intentional.
So here I am.

### 1/5 — Tried it: didn’t work

*2023-06-15, version 2.10.0*

Could never log in with my SSO. Not functional.

### 1/5 — What the? Useless app

*2023-06-09, version 2.10.0*

What the heck? Why doesn’t the Lattice app let you use Lattice features? This basically only gives you 1-1s and directory. You can’t access goals, reviews, updates, or anything else. I tried opening desktop view in a mobile browser and you can’t sign in?? Why would a modern saas product not allow you to use its features on mobile? This app is almost useless and while I liked lattice on desktop I’m bewildered they don’t support mobile.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-06-05, version 2.10.0*

I can’t edit stuff nor update progress on OKRs better use a we browser in desktop node 🤷🏻‍♂️

### 1/5 — Waste of their effort, zero value to you

*2023-04-11, version 2.10.0*

It only shows you the names of people on your team and the public praise they’ve seen.

### 1/5 — Completely useless app

*2023-03-07, version 2.10.0*

Minimal directory only. No real features. Embarrassing.

### 1/5 — What’s the point?

*2022-12-22, version 2.10.0*

This app has nearly no features. Not even sure why they wasted energy on it.

### 1/5 — Astoundingly bad code. Poor frameworks for employee development.

*2022-12-22, version 2.10.0*

The code is so bad that they don’t quote even simple strings correctly. One lovely effect of this is that punctuation entered via web form renders incorrectly in the app and vice-versa. So you can’t switch back and forth between these — which defeats the whole purpose of having an app.

Furthermore, the whole structure for goals and feedback is geared to the lowest common denominator. There’s no coaching conversations or helping draw employees into adopting greater challenges. No. Just the same “this is all just a documentation safety net.” This could all be so much better.

### 2/5 — The web app is great… what happened with mobile?

*2022-09-30, version 2.10.0*

I’m a power user of Lattice via the web app. I use it for 1:1s with my direct reports and with other people outside my team. I also use the updates feature with my team. I use it for OKRs and reviews. The mobile app is so underwhelming… clearly not a priority.

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2022-07-29, version 2.10.0*

The mobile version’s screen cuts many of the important button functions off, you can’t complete most of the tasks and actions steps on the mobile version, it is super frustrating.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Junk

*2026-07-21, version 2.15.1*

Total waste of time. Won’t auth with google login.

### 1/5 — Difficult time signing in

*2025-08-29, version 2.12.0*

I have never had such a difficult time trying to sign in on an app. I was so frustrated. Not impressed so far

### 1/5 — Obsolete

*2025-08-18, version 2.12.0*

Absolutely pointless app. Last update was over a year ago and nothing on this platform is unique or remotely helpful. If it wasn't required by my employer (I assume a license is cheap or something) I could have lived blissfully unaware of this garbage

### 1/5 — Can’t even log in

*2025-05-20, version 2.12.0*

Tried logging in via SSO and nothing would happen. No errors or any indication of what went wrong.

### 1/5 — Disappointingly Barebones; Not Worth the Download

*2025-05-06, version 2.12.0*

I expected more from a company reportedly valued at $3–4 billion. The mobile app feels like a rushed afterthought: clunky, limited, and devoid of anything that adds real value. Basic navigation is there, but no depth, no fluid UX, and no meaningful features beyond the bare minimum. Frankly, it makes the brand feel like another people management “wannabe” instead of the standout it markets itself to be.

The web version is solid (functional, structured, and helpful for performance reviews and goals) but the app does the opposite. It drags down the overall user experience and feels like it was built just to say they have an app.

If this is the best they can offer in mobile, they should’ve skipped it entirely.

### 1/5 — Okta SSO isn’t working, can’t sign in

*2025-04-14, version 2.12.0*

This has been like that for several months and it doesn’t seem like anyone’s working on a fix. I wonder if this app is being maintained at all

### 1/5 — It’s laughable how barebones this app is

*2024-10-04, version 2.12.0*

The ONLY thing you can do on this app is manage 1:1’s, write weekly updates, and view extremely basic profile information. Bizarrely, while you can write your won weekly updates, you can’t even view weekly updates from those on your team. The mobile site is infinitely more useful. With how useless this app is, it’d honestly be better that it didn’t exist.

### 1/5 — Functionless

*2024-05-19, version 2.12.0*

I don’t know why they even bothered to put this into the App Store. This app is incredibly useless and disappointing. Using the web app on a computer is really good, but don’t waste your time using your phone expecting to do anything with Lattice. Trying to use it in my mobile browser was exacerbating. IMHO a mobile app for a substantial system like Lattice should include the key features. This app can only do 1:1 and I didn’t bother to try it because I have no confidence that it will work. Huge fail.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work in mobile

*2024-02-11, version 2.11.0*

A lot of basic viewing issues

### 1/5 — Doesn’t open

*2024-01-23, version 2.11.0*

Doesn’t open. Using Okta SSO.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Helpful companion for basics

*2024-07-02, version 2.12.0*

Basics like 1:1s on the go, feedback in the moment, finding colleagues in your directory, even adding PTO .. the basics that you want in your pocket with secure SSO make this very useful for me as a busy exec.

### 5/5 — They fixed SSO and it’s great now

*2024-03-07, version 2.12.0*

Doesn’t have every feature but functional!

### 5/5 — Ease of use for 1:1s and Feedback

*2024-03-07, version 2.12.0*

I love Lattice as a platform, and I’m a very mobile worker. Being able to easily access 1:1 agendas on the go has been a game changer for me.

I also find that being able to give feedback in the mobile app has helped increase the amount of feedback I’m giving on a consistent basis.

### 5/5 — Top App

*2023-03-19, version 2.10.0*

Sehr gut, um die Mitarbeiter Zufriedenheit hoch zu halten und die wöchentlichen Evaluationen ausführlich zu halten

### 5/5 — Great tool for on the go

*2018-09-21, version 1.2.0*

This is the perfect app for Lattice users on the go. If you want to take a walking 1:1 - you can still bring your agenda with you, takes notes, and share action items in your notes.

### 5/5 — Wish fulfilled

*2018-07-14, version 1.0*

Can finally do a walking 1 on 1 and access my agenda!

### 5/5 — This app is crème fraiche

*2018-07-13, version 1.0*

Perfect for a walk and one-on-one any day of the week.

### 5/5 — Perfect 1:1 accompaniment tool

*2018-07-13, version 1.0*

This app matches my 1:1 lifestyle. When we have our 1:1s we walk and talk, or sit in a coffee shop. Very well designed!

### 4/5 — Would love to see a native version

*2021-03-23, version 2.5.0*

You can tell it’s a web app from the little quirks in the UI, and how there’s loading indicators where there shouldn’t be. But it does allow me to manage my 1on1s. Would love to see it built natively and support features like dark mode, etc. Current experience is a little janky.

### 4/5 — It’s a work in progress, great improvements

*2021-02-02, version 2.5.0*

We’ve been customers for a month. The web portal is really easy to use, and has a great UX. I have noticed, even in the short while I’ve been using the mobile app, that there have been improvements. You can use the updates and 1:1 tool in there now. There’s definitely room for improvement, but I have high hopes!
