## What is LauMap?

LauMap is the map for giveaways — discover furniture, books, plants and more that people give away for free, with photos, location, and current status.

Boxes on the curb are usually only seen by whoever happens to walk by. Or you spot a street-side giveaway while out and want to let others know. LauMap shows these spots on the map — no chat, no meetups, no scheduling: just check and drop by.

See what's nearby: explore giveaways on the map or browse them in the feed. Filter by distance and tags, and see before you head out whether items are still there, partly gone, or all gone.

Post with a photo, title, and location — whether you're giving things away yourself or reporting what you saw as a passerby. Posts can be shared so people who don't use LauMap yet can find them too.

Subscribe to an area and get notified when new posts appear.

Not a marketplace: no prices, no negotiations, no shipping. LauMap is an information service only. We do not organize handoffs or grant permissions for public space. A pin does not mean items may be left or taken there — anyone placing items in public space is responsible for local rules. You decide whether to stop by.
