If you remove a card and put it back then it’s OK. I highly value user experience and LaunchBayNext perfectly captures the needs of the user. The squad builder is simple and effective, the layout is easy to understand, and the collection feature is a nice addition. The calculator and tournament options are absolutely superb. As a blogger, the detailed record and notes really makes my life easier working back through an event. Pure class, highly recommended on iOS. ### 5/5 — Just Amazing *2020-01-28, version 2.2.0* I don’t usually write reviews but I use this app every day when a new squad concept, it’s super convenient and easy to use too. It has a collection feature I really enjoy that helps me a lot when I don’t have my cards on me. My only super minor complaint is that the wave 6 stuff isn’t in in the collection yet even though some of it is out at Barnes and Nobel but that’s not big enough to be more than a nitpick ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bugs, bugs, and more bugs. *2026-05-01, version 4.1.0* The core concept is there, and I like the collection feature, but compared to even mobile YASB, this has entirely too many issues to be worth using. Adding a pilot will occasionally fail and just do nothing, and other times it won’t allow you to select a ship. When adding a pilot it may appear invisible or become unselectable until you restart the app. Once you’re editing the loadout for a pilot, the upgrade slots will: grey out and become uninteractable, move around randomly, disappear, or just fail to work. The filters for some modifications is incorrect, Precision Ion Engines and Stealth Device shows up for every ship. Recently half of the upgrades have lost images that show the card art and full card. Points will randomly miscalculate, adding loadout values to the total point cost on XWA managed lists. There are definitely more issues, as those are just the few I managed to think of off the top of my head, but my point stands. Most of these issues require an app restart to fix and make continuous use almost impossible. ### 1/5 — Unable to log on *2024-10-03, version 4.0.0* Can’t log in and totally useless. Uninstalled and won’t be coming back. I thought maybe I needed to add them to my collection but this didn’t fix the issue either. This app isn’t very intuitive and the lack of card picks makes building a squad difficult. Furthermore, I purchased the Legion Commander app from this developer a few months ago and he pulled it off the App Store. ### 2/5 — Please bring back AMG points *2026-07-05, version 4.1.0* I had a ton of AMG lists built up l, and then out of the blue they disappeared. I am very disappointed as that is the points ecosystem that me and all of my friends use. Bring it back please! ### 2/5 — It not working neither at IOS nor Android *2023-09-16, version 3.1.0* If you close the app and load it again, it looses login and does not load the squads anymore. The workaround everytime it happens, and it happens everytime, i delete the APP from IOS 16.6.1 and download the app again. Some interactions in the app are not intuitive, but all the functionality is there. One major improvement that needs to be made is in regard to filtering. When I select more filters, I expect the results to narrow down. Instead a union on the multiple filters is performed increasing my results. That functionality is opposed to what a "filter" is supposed to do. Otherwise this is my choice X-Wing squad builder.
