In fact its some sort of a virtual Novation Launchpad and its FREE !! cheers ### 4/5 — Great once set-up but a bit inconsistent *2020-06-11* Took me quite a while to get this hooking up to Ableton correctly. Had trouble getting it to receive midi notes even though I could see the notes arriving on my iPad in midi wrench. Eventually got it going and it’s really pretty good, certainly a big improvement over tea hung for the trackpad on my Mac all the time. Only issue I have is that sometimes the buttons don’t always respond correctly. For example I arm a track in mixer mode and the pad doesn’t light up so I can’t tell if it worked without checking the arm icon has lit up in Ableton. It’s free though so can’t complain. I’d probably upgrade to the paid version if these minor glitches were ironed out. ### 4/5 — 4/5 *2020-01-04* Das Setup ist etwas kniffelig, aber wenn es erstmal läuft klappt es sehr gut. Der Link zur Launchpad-Anleitung könnte etwas prominenter platziert sein, denn ohne die ist man doch ziemlich aufgeschmissen. Please tell how to use this app. ### 3/5 — Finicky but works. *2018-11-08* The latency and tendency to disconnect put me off a bit. it would be cool to see the colors mimic ableton. The watch app does not reflect what is on the phone properly so it’s hard to see where I am without actually looking at the track box in ableton. I was trying to find a way to connect without internet, router, or the upgraded bluetooth version and I figured something out on mac. Just create a network with the mac and turn on internet sharing in system preferences. after that connect the phone to the computer by bluetooth and then your phone should show up in audio midi network setup even when not connected to internet. Ps, I could not get launchpad95 to work with it. I might try again later but i’m just using regular launchpad scripts ### 4/5 — Connection. *2018-07-05* I went through the steps and checked it again to make sure and still don’t have response with ableton. But it said I have to upgrade to play app... I would say don’t download this app because I think it’s a scam all the developers want is money... but developers money is not the answer to all your problems too much money is greed. Make this app work and don’t have upgrade then I might think about increase the review stars then I would download app and rate it better but at the moment your back at square 1 I’m what I got to say at the moment avoid downloading this app because to upgrade it they want £4.99 for the premium I think it’s a rip off. ### 1/5 — awful-read this review if u are thinking of getting this stupid app *2018-01-13* I don’t care if there is no audio because of ‘midi controller’ or whatever that is, go on to any other launchpad app such as Super Pads or LaunchPad and guess what it’s free and it won’t chanter you anything but oh no not with this horrible app, it charges you about 25 pence/cents a minute, but the sound doesn’t even work! If this app sorts this out by not ‘buying cheap sounds’ as it says for itself as soon as you click on it. A MIDI device is NOT supposed to play sound from it! Also MIDIHub captures Discord every time I launch it, and when I restart it to capture Ableton live, it instead doesn’t work and doesn’t connect up my iPad. When it does work though, my god it’s worth your time, the free version I’ve used is so low latency, plus I saw it doesn’t include the full colour range, therefore I’ve paid for the plus. It does what it's suppose to do seamlessly. I use it to launch clips on ableton and it works great. I feel for the developer being weighed down by one star reviews from dummies who don't read the description.
