Clothes are always cleaned to a high standard and the driver is always polite and on time. However, recently I placed an order for a delivery on a Tuesday. I was emailed at 5:20pm on the Sunday prior and told my order had been amended and delivery would instead be in 40 minutes time. I was irritated that there had been no consideration to asking me whether this was actually convenient. (When the driver can arrive twenty minutes earlier than scheduled, I typically get a text message - but apparently not when he can arrive 2 days earlier?). Fortunately, I was in and able to accept the delivery, but I can’t say I was particularly impressed with having my order being amended without checking first. Consider this a “suggestion” rather than a “complaint”, Laundrapp. If you revise dates and times your customers have specifically chosen, you will quickly lose them as customers. ### 1/5 — V Poor customer service *2022-01-05, version 4.1.2* No one came to collect my order, and when I tried to rebook there were no slots available for a week. Cancellation is £6, and the only support is via email with a 48 hour response time, which is ridiculously slow. ### 1/5 — Waited order to be returned, never arrived *2021-12-04, version 4.1.2* I used to use Laundrapp frequently about a year ago and the service was great, never had problems. I have now tried to use it again however the clothes have not been returned to me! I scheduled two deliveries and waited at home both days during the two-hour slot, it never arrived. Now I have been trying to contact customer support via phone, email, WhatsApp and online chat for a full day – there is no response or any way to get through to anyone on any of these platforms. I need to receive my clothes urgently as I am leaving town after the weekend and they have already been delayed twice. For a company that relies on just an app to make money, I’m shocked how bad it is. Took a day to track down a missing laundry bundle and I had to chase them to get an update. Finally located, but couldn’t deliver until 4 days later. No compensation offered. No phone call to apologise. Won’t be using again. ### 2/5 — Out of touch with the user *2021-05-25, version 4.0.5* I just don’t understand why it’s so hard for this app to allow for scheduling collection and delivery the same day of the week. It’s like they don’t understand how people change their beds/clean their houses… You change beds on a Monday, send off the sheets to be cleaned, they are received the following Monday when the beds are changed again… Not to mention the savings in driver journeys! ### 1/5 — Very poor service *2021-05-17, version 4.0.5* Expensive service and these guys can pick up or collect on time - terrible service ! We currently don’t have a functioning washing machine and it was quite urgent. However the order was cancelled *after* the allotted slot was over. I was told to rebook a slot but there are none available for the foreseeable future. Given it costs money to cancel my order I feel scammed. ### 3/5 — Good when the app works *2021-05-10, version 4.0.5* Works great when the app actually works, keep getting a loading screen updated still the same. Off and on and doesn’t let me login saying my internet is not working or I have the wrong account. ### 1/5 — Worst experience ever - Laundryheap is far better! *2021-05-09, version 4.0.5* From the app through to the actual service, we will never be using Laundrapp again. When trying to set up my account I had the most difficult time adding payment details (app kept saying ‘email already exists’ when I was trying to add payment details!) then the service had to reschedule collection 3 times and kept referring me to the app which was buggy and showing 0 slots for collection for the full week, so the CS team had to manually reschedule my collection due to the faulty app. And this morning the driver was unable to deliver our already delayed items, so I rescheduled delivery for tomorrow - was sent an email telling me I didn’t finish amending my order (went into the app again to check, and found that it was scheduled…? And that amendments within 4 hours of collection or delivery result in an additional fee— which is not even my fault on this occasion) in short— this has been the most complicated and long winded experience from the point of trying to pay for the service to actually getting our clothes back. I will never use this service again— Laundryheap was stress-free whereas Laundrapp added unnecessary stress to the process. ### 1/5 — All round poor - particularly customer service *2021-04-18, version 4.0.5* Have used multiple times due to absence of any other service... when it works you receive 100% of your items back either dry cleaned or washed (odds are around 1 in 5 that it will work). I am awaiting the day a competitor can come and disrupt what is a generally poor service. When it doesn’t work (ie it’s late or a mix up) then you will have to: 1) Speak with a customer service team who do not want to help you. It’s very ‘computer says no’ if you have seen Little Britain. I dealt with someone called Sam and someone called Tom. They will not answer your questions , you will ask X and they will talk about B. 2) Exert yourself against a brick wall or threaten to sue in order to get a refund for late service / missing items 3) If there is a late service, there will be no goodwill gesture as the customer has to re-schedule themselves to be available . 4) Do NOT rely on this service if you need something urgently cleaned. Support your local dry cleaning instead. If you need something urgent it’s high risk to use laundrapp, they can’t seem to manage their staff , their drivers don’t know what they are doing etc 5) worst case is I know several friends who have same experience. After waiting 8 days after my payment, I get the info from my bank that the charge was reversed. No message from Laundrapp, so I wrote to them to then get a response that it would be earliest Sunday they could pick it up. I have now waited weeks to have 4 items picked up and don’t even know if it would ever happen. Will definitely just use somebody else, a bit of a joke, really. ### 1/5 — Can’t update my payment card *2022-01-18, version 4.1.3* Used to love this app but having to go elsewhere as it’s impossible to update my payment details. Endless emails with support refusing to help. Time to look for a new laundry service sadly ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THIS APP Returned laundry unprocessed and 3 days late *2022-01-05, version 4.1.2* I used this app, three times and they messed up twice. The first time it was just a blanket and all went well. The second time was my DoGi, it came back with marks on it. The last time my blanket, picked up on the 29th to be returned on the 2nd. They change the delivery date to 5th. It’s just arrived and hasn’t been processed at all. No contact, no apology, no reason why.
