### 3/5 — Pros & Cons

*2026-02-15*

I have mixed feelings about this app. I love that I don’t have to spend a bunch of time putting quarters into a machine. However, the app doesn’t take my card. I have to make my way to the ATM, take out cash, and then load money to my account using a kiosk. This app is both convenient & inconvenient at the same time. If I could load funds with my card, it would be a 5 star app.

### 2/5 — Was a good app, not anymore

*2026-02-07*

Keep trying to add my card info to reload my account and every time I come to my laundromat it always says “pay card not found” no matter what card I use or what time of day it is. Thought it was an update issue but I see it’s not and it’s very aggravating because the app used to be very easy to use and caused very little if any issues at all

### 2/5 — good idea, bad execution

*2025-03-20, version 3.1.3*

my biggest problem is it will glitch when trying to add 5 mins to the end of a dry cycle, it will double the last added amount. just took twice the money out of my balance as well. annoying. great to replace quarters but with so many people complaining of shifty customer service and missing accounts this is a simple app and simple fix. they need to be accountable

### 3/5 — Great…when it works.

*2024-12-12*

First day I had the app, I loaded funds effortlessly and am still using those funds. However, I had to change the card I was using to load additional funds, and now it will not accept not only the new card, but ANY card I try. I keep getting the same invalid message. I’ve also received no help from “customer service” (a phrase with less and less meaning anywhere as time goes on). The attendant at my laundromat was terrific in trying to solve the issue, but admitted it has been a problem for more than one patron.

I’ll just bring cash from now on.

### 4/5 — So far no issues...

*2024-11-16*

I never have cash on me and to withdraw from an ATM is expensive between the ATM fee and your banks additional fee. Also the laundry wants us to use quarters! Very annoying. This app is convenient for those reasons. But $15 is to high a minimum. It should be whatever I want to load. I happen to live 2 mins from the laundromat so I usually wait at home for the cycle to finish. It's very inconvenient that I can only use the app on the laundromats WiFi. But at least I get a reminder alarm 5 mins before the cycle is finished. Also I like the fact the my washes earn points. Only been to the laundromat 3 times now and I earned enough for a free dry cycle. So I'm going to keep using this laundromat and this app until the grand opening discount ends. Then probably just go back back. Because this one does charge more for the dryer.

### 1/5 — Stealing

*2024-02-08, version 2.2.6*

The person or persons behind this app are stealing balances and deleting rewards points. I am reporting to apple. They don’t answer emails. It’s time to get these people for FRAUD

### 3/5 — Decent app

*2024-02-05, version 2.2.6*

I have been using this app for a while now it's a decent app some stuff like reloading money is easy and paying through the QR Code is convenient but I don't understand why u can't access the app when ur not connected to there wifi whats the point of having a QR Code and the timer and washer/dryer number if I have to stay inside the building to even access the app.... And also the rewards points shows no options for rewards it cost 10,000 points for 1 load of clothes which is ridiculous overall it's a decent app convenient if u don't wanna carry coins but could definitely use alot of improving

### 1/5 — Disgusting how much they charge for laundry

*2023-07-12, version 2.1.9*

Doing laundry shouldn’t cost people $10, $15, or even $20 for a single hamper of clothes. But as they say, the rich get richer and the poor stay poor.

### 3/5 — Yeah but no!

*2023-05-13, version 2.1.8*

I like the app it’s cool more modern and u get free washes or drys. But if u don’t really have money I wouldn’t suggest. They make u use 12.00 or more when u upload money then u can’t get the remaining balance back. And there’s no customer support.

### 1/5 — There's nothing worth a star with this app SCAM!!

*2023-04-29, version 2.1.8*

I have money sitting in an account now that I will never get back. Moved to a different area and there are ZERO laundromats here with this service. No customer service contacts can be found for these people. THIS IS A SCAM!

### 2/5 — Really??

*2023-04-16*

cool app, but the least amount you can find is $15. let’s say it only cost you $10 to wash and dry, then you have the other $5 just wasted and sitting in your account. super dumb. we should be able to put as little as $5 on the account if we want. not $15

### 1/5 — Save your money.

*2023-03-22, version 2.1.8*

Takes your money but doesn’t work. Northport laundromat, it doesn’t work and there’s no way to get your money back.

### 1/5 — No accountability

*2022-08-31*

This app has absolutely no customer service department to help with anything relating to the app and their app support page gives an invalid customer support email. I had an issue in the app where I accidentally deleted my account from my local laundry and had a remaining balance as well as 2000+ loyalty points. I have no recourse whatsoever and the actual laundry facility can not issue me a refund for the remaining money I had left. Id suggest you stay away from this app with predatory practices.

### 1/5 — No star review

*2022-07-05*

This is the worst app ever !!! They advise in laundry place and I loaded $10 on it and my phone was connected to the WiFi and it just didn’t work. They have no customer service number to request a refund. Owner is no where to be contacted and all I get the the run around because no one can issue a refund. This is the first and last time I use this laundry place with this app its horrible!! Beware don’t not use !!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Took my $7 and made me spend money bc won’t take ANY card

*2025-12-11, version 3.1.3*

Took my $7 and made me spend money bc won’t take ANY card

### 1/5 — useless

*2025-11-21, version 3.1.3*

it just says "paycard not found" when adding payment.

### 1/5 — Needs a ZERO star option

*2025-06-05*

Traveling & needed to do some laundry. All machines require quarters (!?) or this app. Worker at the location really pressing the app and “first wash is free with the app to try and get people to use the app.”

That was a red flag, but while I was messing with the app my spouse already loaded the laundry. OK.

1. Can’t use the app without creating an account.

2. App asks to use your geolocation data (absolutely indefensible other than just sucking up any data they can get, which means they’ll be selling it)

3. Doesn’t support Apple Pay —> requires giving them your credit card directly.

4. Works like a gift card, in other words, it is impossible to just pay for your laundry. Once you have given them your credit card data, you must then “add money to your account” 😵😱😵

So, despite a wash cycle costing $3.75 I have to put $5 onto “my account”, so they get to keep that extra $1.25 (in my case forever because I’m never going to be in this state again).

To top it all off, it then gives an error contacting the server after scanning the QR codes on the machines. Since it is it’s own app there’s no way to know if the QR codes have been tampered with, but certainly a possibility).

Also note that by using QR codes it requires access to your camera.

This is a perfect example of a company that doesn’t care about their customers at all. Setting it up so you could pay using Apple Wallet and remain essentially anonymous as well as not overpay would be trivial. Instead they made a terrible app and don’t seem to be maintaining it well.

Final advice: bring quarters (or go to another laundromat)

Edit: they do allow you to “request” that your account is deleted (giving them any $ balance), but you must do it inside the app. Just had to re-install it to delete my account (the re-deleted the app).

### 1/5 — No Refunds Through App

*2025-06-04*

This is a very convenient concept. No extra trips to get quarters, no hoarding quarters, no having to use a CC/cash to load $$ onto another card that charges a fee just to get one.
The issues I came across is that customer service won’t give refunds. Allegedly, you have to go to the laundromat you loaded at to get any refunds, if the laundromat even offers refunds. I’ve heard different things from the facility itself. In CA, you are legally eligible for a refund if it’s under $10. When I get proof both parties are flat out refusing refunds, I’m escalating this issue further. You also have to be on the laundromats WiFi to check the timers on your loads. I’ve only come across one facility that uses this app and they are more expensive than others in the area. Sure, I get that having to implement WiFi and an app cost extra but I didn’t think it should have been that much of a difference.
There is another app called PayRange which is much more widely used. Several facilities in my area use it. Customer service is much better. $$ load minimum is less. And you can get a refund through the app.

### 1/5 — Terrible support

*2025-02-28*

Tech support will only speak to staff at the laundromat if you have login issues, which requires you to give your personal information not just to tech support but to the laundromat employee as well. They were also very rude and unhelpful.

### 1/5 — My review

*2025-01-29*

I originally started coming here because of the prices, they were very affordable and very convenient for me but I noticed they went up in price. I really like the way the place is well. Kept the convenience of the shopping center around you, but I am not very pleased with the prices. but overall, a very nice place to wash your clothes. I have returned to my old laundromat due to prices

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2025-01-10*

I loaded money on this app and used it one time and now it won’t let me log in. The manager has tried to get it to work and he couldn’t get it to either. There is no # to contact CS and I have money on it and it won’t let me login or use it

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2024-10-01, version 2.2.6*

Stole my money

### 1/5 — You can’t leave the laundromat

*2024-09-14, version 2.2.6*

This seems like a big design flaw. If you leave the laundromat’s wifi network you can’t check the status of your wash. How stupid is that?

### 1/5 — Looks like a Fraud!!!

*2024-03-16, version 2.2.6*

Only can add minimum 5$ at the time but at the end of my laundry I had 4,50$ left on the account with no way to be refund!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Basic but works for me

*2025-09-20*

I probably came in after book fixes. No issues, and it helps me do my laundry. The only odd thing is that there’s a mysterious website running everything so it will show up in your saved passwords oddly.

### 5/5 — Simple

*2025-05-19, version 3.1.3*

Simple easy to use

### 5/5 — Exelente servicio

*2024-07-27, version 2.2.6*

Lo recomiendo un Exelente servicio y la señora claudia muy atenta con la clientela me explicó todo el manejo de las lavadoras y secadoras muy buen servicio

### 5/5 — Great and no fee’s 👍🏻

*2023-01-15*

So much better than using quarters. Person at my local place showed me how to use it, the app texted me when my machine had 1 min left till I could toss in the dryer. The loyalty points allowed me to get a free wash. No fee’s for using the app. Finally we have a laundromat app that is modernized.

### 5/5 — Easy!

*2022-07-16*

This app worked great at my local laundry mat. I downloaded the app, added funds, scanned the QR codes on the washing machines, and I was good to go. Great idea for an app! Kudos!

### 5/5 — Adore!

*2022-05-28, version 2.1.5*

What an incredible app! Absolutely a game changer! Thank you!

### 5/5 — This app makes laundry much easier

*2021-09-29*

When I discovered a new laundromat in Greenville that accepted this app, I was delighted. I lost so many laundry cards before, but I never lost my phone and I always have it with me. I can pay for my laundry with my phone so quickly! Recommend

### 5/5 — The best laundry app I have used.

*2020-12-21, version 2.0*

Not saying much

### 5/5 — Laundry Pay

*2020-09-14, version 1.9.9*

I really enjoyed going there.I met Patrick and show us around and how to use there machines. The money you put in stays there till you use it again. The good thing about it when doing the washing you get points. The points you have can be used on drying so it don’t cost anything for drying.I really like that.So we will be going back there till our washer & dryer get here. Thanks for you help Patrick.Bobby & Dianne Mangum

### 5/5 — AWESOME APP!!!

*2019-12-12, version 1.9.6*

I’ve no idea what issues anyone could possibly have using this app!?!
It is simple, straightforward & quite easy. But like my mother used to say “ You must consider the source!”

At any rate, don’t let the negative reviews deter you from getting this app! If you can operate a box of cereal then you can use LaundryPay!!!
